In order to progress through certain areas, you need to solve puzzles using both the girl and the rat together!
Sneaking Past Enemies:
There are multiple enemies you need to sneak past in order to not get caught! Guards, Dogs, Cats and even the Evil Caretaker Cruéll!
Play as the Rat:
The rat is small, agile and of course cute as heck! So you need to play as the rat sometimes to fit in small holes, jump around on obstacles and find items for the girl to use!
Story:
In What Comes Next, you play as Sophie a young french girl in the 1970's of France. You live together with your best friend in an orphange ran by an evil caretaker. Your best friend also happens to be a rat named Ami. Together you escape the orphanage and go on an adventure to find your parents.
In this game, you will play as both the girl and the rat in order to solve puzzles together, stealth past different enemies and search a city for clues on your parents whereabouts.
