Wisp Catacombs Demo

(Note: This is a demo of our beta, meaning you will encounter bugs and weird behaviors)

What makes Wisp Catacombs a unique rogue-like game?

• The enemy diversity. (Seeing a giant scarab, a shotgun urchin, and flying dust is rare sight!)
  
• Fast movement. (Invincible dashes, quick turns, and a standstill healing system require skill.)
  
• The choices the player(s) can make. (Will the players trust or confront their creator?)
  
• The player(s) can start as one class and finish with completely different abilities.
  
• Local 4-player mode. (You can play up to 4 players without any compromises using any input device from keyboard, controller and mouse)
  
• Brutal difficulty. (Don’t take this part lightly.)

What are the main gameplay Features?

• Players can use their dash to dodge projectiles. It’s fast and effective.
  
• No ammo: when you attack, you lose energy! The energy is also your health!
  
• Swappable abilities: 2 attack types (simple and area), an ultimate attack, and a passive stat.
  
• Items which upgrade your base stats. A battery can gives you more energy (health), a vacuum can upgrade your regeneration, etc.
  
• 7 power types, 75+ total powers! Experiment with each attack!

With 3 worlds in this demo, you will have to adapt to different combat styles and strategies. You will survive against fire snakes, big scarabs, bats, creepy spiders and ... Urchins?

Play up to 4 players against the monsters!

Wisp Catacombs can be played up to 4 players. Level configurations are randomly generated, having multiple different room types such as shops, chests, taps and enemies. Explore diverse worlds and face hardcore challenges with the scalable difficulty system. Oh, don't worry, it won’t be too difficult! The wisps will be able to choose their difficulty

You will see a lot of bullets...

You will have to confront bosses that vomit copious amounts of projectiles! You can manage, though: with 75+ powers distributed in multiple types of elements, strategic maneuvers will lead you to victory! Players can switch between playstyles, and approach challenges in different ways. This keeps the gameplay exciting.
