Jessica returns to the US after studying abroad for a while, and it's up to her to clean up her gang and deal with her troublesome cousin. The story really isn't very interesting, and I ended up skipping much of it. Basically you have a couple of edgy anime girls who are suppose to be these bad-ass gangsters, and everything is SO edgy just for the sake of being edgy, and then the translators who probably thought that the game needed just a little bit more edge decided to use all the edgiest words they could think of. At first I was pleasently surprised to find out that the game is fully voiced, however I soon learned that most of the voices are not very well done. I especially found the main character Jessica's voice really annoying. There are only a few illustrations in the game, and even when playing the uncensored version which adds a couple of scenes the gallery only consists of 12 images, most of which can be seen in the intro/trailer. Honestly, if you've watched the trailer, there is barely any point in actually playing the game. I wasn't expecting this game to be great, but it's not even decent. It's just bad. At least it's only a couple of hours long.4 found this helpful
This is a censored version, don't waste your money.1 found this helpful
Set in Las Vegas, this kinetic novel deals with the underside of paradise. Some shady individuals, others down-on-their-luck. In the center are two girls who are wide-eyed… at first. Through their experiences, will they bond (or more) or will they fall through the dark places in this city of lights?1 found this helpful
Call this a game is like calling an audio-book a movie... but I don't like visual-"novels" at all and this "game" reminds me, once again, why. +

Nice Steam-emojis
Auto mode
Continuous Voice acting and sounds, good quality
-

Boring af
Story is mediocre at best
Visuals are also mediocre
UI is functional but ugly af
So better listen to a good audio-book instead.
Atom Grrrl!! is a mess of a story about a couple of west coast American lesbian mafia girls that go after a cousin because she set up a casino on the first girls' turf. Most of the scenes in the story are horribly modified scenes from Pulp Fiction written by Japanese that are trying to sound American, complete with dumb slang. There's the diner scene, there's the clean-up-the-dead-guy-in-the-car scene, there's an attache case, etc. Strangely, I can't tell if they tried too hard or not enough; either way, it's just not very good. The graphics are pretty poor -- it looks like the backgrounds are 8-bit color pixelated photos of real locations (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, etc) with sprites drawn on top all in 800x600 resolution. Everybody is fully voiced in Japanese, which is a nice touch, and I suspect that's why the game costs $10 full price. As far the Steam release -- it is censored graphically though you can pick up a patch if you search the interwebs, but it's a mosaic-censored patch. There is also an "uncensored" version of the game available on Denpasoft and while it does have one scene that is not mosaic-censored like the patched version, there are still reduced-mosaic censored…
I bought this ages ago, but only with Covid happening did I finally play it. I was not sure what to expect, so discovering it was pretty much Taratinoesque and reminiscent of Pulp Fiction except with cast of lesbians. It was strangely compelling despite slurs and racial epithets. It really is a dark comedy of errors and the fact the story takes places mostly in two days just adds to it. The cast are even fun and though definitely not the greatest people - none of them are good people, some are just better than others, it still kept me engrossed. Would I recommend it? Yeah definitely worth one play through.
