Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Escape The Cradle : [i] Escape The Cradle is a competent idle game with a cute story. Runs are completely passive, player agency only lies in the not very creative upgrades (skill and prestige trees). A bit repetitive. [/i] + Good balance between gameplay and story. + Easy mechanisms, great for casual gamers. +/- UI, pixel art, soundtrack, monsters... Everything is competent, but maybe too classic? +/- If you like active gameplay, this isn't for you. If you're more of an idle enjoyer, go get it. - You're not really incentified to advance floors early on. This may lead to a strategy of idly grinding the same floor to grind prestige points. And since the prestige tree is not big, you end up clearing the 30 floors in a breeze after completing it, which is a strange pacing. (Guess who did use this strat? ;-) Want and escape joke? Is this a good idle game? Yes But dont expect a whole lot out of it. Its a short and sweet idle game with a very cute fox girl. I do hope that this game ends up getting a sequel to explore more of this world and some of the characters that appeared in it, especially cause it kinda ended too soon, leaving the spider girl to just be a mystery with how she is connected to the fox.

A good game. The story is broken up into every five stages up to 30, which appears to be more about the visual story telling. A mother and daughter trapped far underground. This being an incremental game, you have two currencies a red and blue. When you can't progress anymore, you convert your levels and skill tree into the blue one to get additional boosts. Eventually you'll make it to the end.

This is exactly what it bills itself as, a relatively short story focused incremental climb towards freedom. I finished in about 17 hours and I'm sure there are folks who can finish it faster, but this is a case of a dev that asks for what the game is worth and that's my honest opinion. TLDR: Good short incremental game with a decent story at ~20 hours well worth the price.

This is a very simple game but I find it very fun for what it is. The Models are cute the characters have a simple motivation. It's very good!
