Gekisou! Benza Race -Toilet Shooting Star-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSBC8TN_G-M First off, I would highly recommend using a gamepad. It does support them. Every once in awhile I find a game on Steam similar to Gekisou! Benza Race -Toilet Shooting Star-, I consider it my life goal to complete. Sometimes the controls are purely the challenge, and while Gekisou! Benza Race -Toilet Shooting Star- has lackluster controls, I honestly think it adds to the experience. You see, as an experienced toilet racer now, I will give you a hot tip: this is best played like a rally game as opposed to F-Zero. Take your time around corners. Spam your toilet paper shots. Collect the rice grains to defend yourself from the rear. I enjoyed this game quite a bit. The replays alone after each race warrant a purchase. I laughed the whole way through -- Strong recommend as long as long as you are a toilet fan. I just happen to be #1 NA toilet fan unintentionally.

You may see the screenshots and laugh. There is no possible way that a game about racing on a hovertoilet against sentient outhouses can ever be a bad thing. You would be wrong. The game is way too confusing visually, the handling is terrible (which is realistic, I suppose - you're driving a toilet), the interface is extremely bad, and it's incredibly buggy (I once went through a wall on the final lap of a race and got trapped on the sideline, forcing a restart). The course design is abysmal almost to the point of being nonsensical, and seemingly confusing the brain dead AI as well - you can often see them getting stuck on corners and wobbling in the wrong direction. I've hate-played this game for 36 minutes and finished every course in the game, as far as I can tell, finishing first in every one - it takes some effort to not finish first as I often found myself winning despite falling into every hole and getting stuck on every roadside object possible. Quite possibly, the worst game in my entire Steam library. Do not accept, even for free.

Steam needs more low-budget crazy games. Most of the fun is derived from "what the he*k were they thinking". The game ideas are: 10/10 The exection of ideas: 2/10 The variety of stuff: 7/10 Gameplay: 3/10 Game UI: 1/10 Music: 5/10 Overall score: 4/10 "Okay, the wierd experience is worth the $3"

The translation to English is almost non-existent. Didn't seem to be way to change video settings and was stuck at a low resolution. It seems there's exclusively an arcade style story mode of particular races. Couldn't figure out if there was a character select or anything. I dunno. Not worth it for English speakers at least
