About La Vida de Andrea
Andrea follows the same routine every day. At night, someone sabotages the machines that keep her alive. In the morning, she has to repair them before anything else. The player must use Andrea's hands (both human and robotic) to solve the puzzles she faces daily to stay alive. Nothing ever changes—except, perhaps, the emotional weight it leaves on her.We developed this game during the Global Game Jam 2022, under the theme "Duality." We later made a few changes to enhance the overall experience.Features:

A very short, free puzzle game that lightly contemplates the sense of life and its relation with the outside world on the example of an android whose battery is slowly deteriorating, and who needs to do mundane chores everyday to keep herself "alive". I finished the game in 10 minutes. I liked the idea behind the game, the concept of the game, but it was a little boring redoing the two puzzles 3 times. One way to be more interesting would be for different parts of both systems to fail, so we could do two sets of different puzzles to fix. I also liked the idea of not having a menu, you go straight to the game, and the "menu" is only the language by interacting with the table, but it's limiting because we can't change our keyboard controls, which is fine for a game with few interactions and functionalities. I liked the final puzzle, which made me do both sides of the sequence to find the final code. It's a good game, functional, and it worked pretty well, although I thought the full screen made everything too big. It would be more interesting if we were able to play windowed in a smaller window. Nice. If this game is your first project, well done, you are on the right path. My only suggestion is to think a little bigger, go higher. For a free 10-minute game, this game is great, but I can see a future where this game could become a "simulator" or "manager" that you need to fix multiple things around this area, maybe in ot…
Very short, but interesting. Good pixelart. It will be great a longer development.
Wake up, fix your life support system, repeat. What do you think about as your battery's capacity drops day to day? Not necessarily a game that will stick with me forever, but a nice 15min spent pondering and re/doing small puzzles.

Beautiful. Nice puzzles that forced your two brain hemispheres to work together, brilliant idea. I played until the roman coin puzzle, then I wanted to take a break and exited the game, and when I came back, game started from beginning. NO SAVE!! I'm not gonna play it again from the start, so, makes me sad to think what wonderful things game had in store for me.
