I’ve completed Let Her Go and genuinely enjoyed the experience from start to finish. For a first project, this is seriously impressive. The gameplay feels smooth and well thought out. Controls are intuitive, and you can tell a lot of care went into the details. Each level introduces new ideas and interactions, so it never feels repetitive. The escape-room mechanics are creative and require you to really pay attention. What stood out most to me was the atmosphere. Every room has its own mood, supported by fitting music and subtle sound design that really pulls you in. The realistic visuals and lighting make the environments feel immersive and believable. The difficulty isn’t too easy, but that’s what makes it satisfying. Some puzzles take time, yet solving them feels rewarding rather than frustrating. It encourages you to think and stay engaged. It starts with a nightmare. You have no idea what’s happening. You hear voices, but the screen remains black. To make it even stranger, the scene continues even after you press the Esc button to open the menu, which would normally pause the game. When you unpause, it still looks broken because the black screen lingers for a while before the game finally loads. You wake up in a room connected to another, slightly different room. There are no other exits. Instead of following the typical indie horror formula, often favored by new developers who rely heavily on borrowed assets or artificial intelligence, this game leans more toward an escape room style experience. There is no tutorial or guidance. You are left to figure out the mechanics on your own. The first obstacle is that nothing is clearly marked. To interact with anything, you must move close and hover a tiny, barely visible cursor over objects. The cursor changes from a circle to a white dot to indicate something can be examined. The first puzzle requires you to find three notes in each room and match them on a computer with other text messages. This would be manageable if not for a few bigger problems. Such a cute game! I was told that it tells a deep story with a great message at the end and it didn't disappoint! Crazy to think it's only 12 bucks on release when you have a full movie and escape room experience in one! Highly recommended and I'll play it through once again for sure!3 found this helpful
