Press F to Pay Respects is a deliberately minimal clicker game that commits entirely to its meme-based premise, with players repeatedly pressing F to accumulate respect and unlock a handful of upgrades. The game's appeal lies primarily in its self-aware humor and nostalgia for the Call of Duty meme rather than any substantial gameplay depth, as the experience is extremely short with only five upgrades and limited mechanical variety. While some players find the absurdist approach charming, the lack of meaningful content means it's best enjoyed as a quick novelty rather than a game offering last
Press F to pay Respects is a clicker game named after a meme from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, in which you have to press "F" to pay respects at a funeral. What makes this one slightly different than most I've played is that at the start there's only a maximum amount of clicks you can do before you reach the maximum, forcing you to slowly upgrade the maximum amount of clicks "stored". It's a very, very short game with a total of five upgrades, two being automatic and the other three are manual clicking upgrades, there's also something called "Respect" (Not the currency, but another option in the upgrade menu) but I have no idea what it does. Clicking and pressing the space bar gives "Respect" but strangely pressing F doesn't. Most of the positive reviews are praising the meme and not the actual game itself, which is pretty terrible. It's too short and has very little, if any content. The game doesn't save, but considering how short it is, I suppose that doesn't matter.3 found this helpful

Press F to pay respects, developed by Easy game and published by Game for people, is a title that fully commits to a single joke and builds an entire experience around it. Inspired by one of the internet’s most recognizable gaming memes, the game transforms the simple act of pressing a key into its primary—and almost exclusive—form of interaction. It doesn’t try to disguise its intention or expand beyond its concept in any meaningful way; instead, it leans into absurdity, presenting itself as both a parody of idle games and a celebration of meme culture. The core gameplay loop is as minimal as it gets. Players repeatedly press the F key to accumulate “respect,” which functions as the game’s central currency. As the total increases, upgrades become available that enhance efficiency, either by increasing the value of each press or by introducing passive generation systems that allow respect to accumulate automatically. This creates a familiar incremental structure where the player transitions from active input to a more hands-off approach. However, unlike more elaborate idle games, there are no branching paths, strategic decisions, or layered mechanics to explore. Everything feeds b…1 found this helpful
