But where is the original? Why is the original Professor Fizzwizzle game not on steam?

I have a strong memory of playing Professor Fizzle at my friend Sebastian's house when I was a kid. I didn't have anyway to play games growing up, so playing games at other's houses was a treat. Now, years later, somehow the memory of this game popped into my brain, and I have been hunting for it online. Without knowing the name it took some time but I finally found it-- what a trip to play this now! The This game still holds up and is honestly a challenge! It's a puzzle platformer where the goal is to get from Point A to Point B. Sometimes you have to push crates or barrels, open and close gates, etc. Very simple gameplay elements, but it uses them well.

The game of my childhood. Highly recommend.

Puzzle games is my favourite genre, I played so many of them and Professor Fizzwizzle is one of my besties, it's a top 5 for me. While pioneering games like "portal" or "limbo" have inspired so many developers to create new games based on the same concept, I have never played a game similar to professor Fizzwizzle that requires moving objects and combines so well wisdom and simplicity.
