I really tried to and wanted to like this game. They should've went with a more linear approach for the simple fact as that there is no indication to where to go, and when you do the puzzle and don't figure it out you feel like something is missing and keep back tracking tried to find it. I spend hours trying to figure out i had to move a picture just so it reveals a puzzle, or on the tree puzzle i didn't even see i had to press a button to finish the puzzle, which should've been finishing the puzzle just by putting the note down. There is lots to like about this game, but the puzzles and back tracking really ruined it for me.

Developed by Ashkandi and Truthkey and published by Ashkandi and Feardemic, Remorse: The List is a survival horror experience that embraces the deliberate pacing and oppressive atmosphere of classic genre favorites while introducing an open-ended structure that gives exploration greater significance. Set within the abandoned Hungarian town of Hidegpuszta, the game immediately establishes a sense of isolation through its bleak environments and mysterious premise. Armed with little more than a cryptic list and limited resources, players are encouraged to investigate the town at their own pace, uncovering hidden locations, forgotten secrets, and disturbing evidence that gradually reveals the tragedy surrounding the settlement. Rather than relying on lengthy exposition, the narrative unfolds naturally through observation, environmental details, recordings, and scattered documents that reward careful exploration. One of the game's greatest strengths is its interconnected world. Instead of pushing players down a rigid path, Hidegpuszta functions as a semi-open environment where locked doors, hidden passages, and optional discoveries constantly encourage revisiting previous areas. Combat bad. Puzzles bad. Movement janky.

i give it a 7/10 the only problem i had was the navigation with the map, while it is possible to memories most of the areas, it would be nice if the game had an icon to tell where i am, yes the street names are there but i get too distracted easily by the atmosphere of the game. everything else is great !
