Robot City Stadium is a competitive multiplayer disc-combat sport focused on skill, nuance, and mastery.
Competitive: Online multiplayer against friends, enemies, strangers, casual acquaintances, romantic interests, and even people from elementary school who for some reason just sent you a Steam friend request!
Natural: You'll jump and dodge, block and throw, score points, and annihilate your friends with the natural effortlessness of "being there". No obscure or uncomfortable teleport mechanics here- RCS was built from the ground up to take full advantage of room-scale VR.
Finessed: RCS is a competitive game, so when you throw your weapon it has to go exactly where you expect, just like throwing a frisbee. That's different than "goes where you want"- there's no aim-assist here. The precision of the amazing Vive controllers means that what you throw is what you get. It's up to you to bring the skill.
Nuanced: Twist your wrist as you release a throw to add some spin for curving trick shots. Collect and expend "spark energy" to give it an in-flight nudge and edge past a barrier or sneak in a hit out of left field.
Varied: A selection of unique arena layouts and features keeps the action fresh and interesting.
Not-really-all-that-intimidating: Experienced players are going to beat inexperienced players: that's just the nature of a skill-based game. Fortunately, we've got friendly AI bots who are happy to train you without the attitudes and platitudes :) :)

Robot City Stadium is a pretty cool Tron inspired competitive multiplayer game. In many ways it reminds me of other skill based competitive multiplayer games like Paddle Up or Pool Nation (when playing with someone else and not just goofing off) but instead of adapting a real competitive sport to VR, this game takes advantage of VR to create a different virtual sport with elements and factors that can't be found in real life, yet still require a great deal of skill and muscle memory to get good at. The gameplay is challenging at first, but rewarding once you find a throw that works for you. The reflective walls also add an interesting Pong-like element to the game, making bouncing discs off walls to fluster opponents a viable tactic in losing track of the opponent's disc. I can see a lot of potential in this title, as the core mechanics are simple to learn but difficult to master. I especially like how the AI works as a filler while waiting for another opponent, since that means as long as there is at least one person playing you'll be able to get into a game. Overall I'm pretty happy with this title and I think it'll be great to watch a community form around this game …3 found this helpful

Its an early access Disc Wars omg. This game is super FUN! If you are wondering if you would like this game let me ask you a question. Have you ever thrown a frisbee at a friend? Yeah, yea then get RCS- its that good. This is a must have for VR.1 found this helpful
5.0 out of 10 It's a decent enough tron like game, with nice visuals and decent gameplay. But here lies the problem, you'll never find anyone online. It's like many other VR titles with mp, it's dead out there. The game will always attempt to look for another player before starting a bot match. Bot matches surfice but they're boring opponents. You can really get some curve on your throws, but the bots chuck in straight lines. They are accurate but not very interesting. This title just isn't exciting or deep enough to stand on bot matches alone, but that's who you'll play against. So don't bother you'll lose interest quickly. It's a shame, this would be an otherwise fun title rendered pointless.
Do not buy this if you have an Oculus Rift and you are right-handed...there is no way to switch hands. Seems like it could be a fun game if more people played and it allowed me to play with my dominant hand.
