About Whistling Waters
Whistling Waters is a vintage cartoon fishing game inspired by the classic animation of Steamboat Willie! Work on a steamboat spending your days fishing in a hand-drawn, rubber-hose world. The sea is not friendly, nor is your boss. Catch as many fish as you can to meet your boss's quota and avoid damaging your ship.
FISH to make money. Make sure to reach your daily quota by the end of each day or else you're fired!
STEER the ship to avoid damaging the hull. Make sure the steamboat is heading straight every once in a while as you navigate the waters.
REPAIR the steamboat if your hull takes damage. Use the grapple to fish out drift wood for repairs, or use your extra money to buy planks.
NIGHT TIME comes at the end of each day. Turn in the fish you've caught to see if you met today's quota and use your left-over money on upgrades.

Pretty steep price to pay for an hour-long experience. The gameplay loop is fine, and if you see this on discount it could definitely be worth it, but 10 dollars can get you much more depth than this provides.1 found this helpful
I found this game thanks to the streamer Floppysims on Youtube. It is basically a quick little fishing-game with artwork inspired by the 1920s early Disney cartoon. Think kind of like the game "Dredge" but set to fast-paced (probably less than 2minute) rounds of fishing frenzy. It also has a bit of dark/Lovecraftian humor to it. Not a bad game but may not necessarily fulfill the $10 price tag when compared with games like Dustland Delivery.1 found this helpful
Cool idea. You can beat it in under an hour and a half, if you don't care about getting 100%. Perfect for people looking to speedrun and refund
This game is AMAZEBALLS!! Def better than most fishing games I've played and the art style is soooo cute (: There is a lot of fishing to keep you occupied in the day time and night time lets you recollect and just admire the scenery. Sold my soul to a cat the first 3 secs in game too, so 100/10 for sure!
Really enjoyed this game. Came here after watching FloppySword play it. Doesn't take very long to beat it, so hopefully there's more game play coming. Took me about 2 hours. Definitely a nice little game to play. I would recommend.
I enjoyed myself so much. Then a cat tricked me. Now I have to fish for an eternity. 11/10 the cat is so cute
