Did you know that one person commits suicide every 40 seconds worldwide? Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in young people. The suicide rate is higher than all the yearly victims of wars and natural disasters combined. Have you ever felt sad or lonely? You are not alone.
Today, we can easily see how other people are living. Just with one smartphone, we can check out what is going on around the world whenever we want. However, we do not know about the people who commit suicide every 40 seconds world wide. Although suicide is a serious public health problem, it is shocking that most of us know so little about it. Trapped in the world of smartphones, we have lost our faces. Please find a person who will commit suicide before 40 seconds pass!
How to use a controller (HTC Vive): Use Trigger to select menu. Use Touchpad to select a target and jump inside the game.
Choose your language: Select English or Korean (한국어) by using Trigger of your controller.

"40 Seconds" is a garbage VR tech demo that provides an utterly amateurish, uninformed and potentially harmful view of serious social and mental health issues, all in the format of a completely crap looking point and click hidden object puzzle. In VR, for god knows what reason. Trying to address serious issues such as mental and emotional health through the medium of video games is misguided and can be harmful. While it's plausible to suggest the intention was noble, this can do more harm than good. The "developer" here is not a professional in areas of mental health and social problems, and when they use video games to pretend they are, this is not only utterly ineffective, it can be harmful. It's my opinion that it's improper to use video games to address mental health issues. Apart from the harm such hamfisted attempts at addressing social problems can cause, this offers zero benefit to PC gamers. People suffering from health issues or other social problems should seek out professional help rather than going to crap shovelware video games attempting to get attention/fame by exploiting such problems for their own benefit, as is the case here.
