- There were some hidden objects; for example, "key" which was super tiny and couldn't be seen by bare eyes. - The puzzles are so easy. - These ugly and funny-looking characters are disappointingly lacking in motivation, constantly ordering me to do things for them while they're doing nothing, like I'm some kind of servant to them. - I played it in windowed mode while using the Magnifier program since it's 1020x768 resolution, so it was bearable, but the full screen was so awful. + The one positive thing about this game is that some of the background images are beautiful.2 found this helpful
Whole lot of nothing. No story. No challenge. Not even decent item finding.
This game goes back to 2016, maybe more, and it certainly shows its age, not only because of the graphics used to make characters, but the resolution needs to be reduced by today's standards. First thing noteworthy is that you can choose your difficulty level at the beginning of the game; this will influence the appearance/absence of glints, hint recharge time, etc. Dragons Eye has made great games since, and this one has various clichés (evil spells) in the story. Some of the HO scenes are fragmented objects, which are always more challenging than the common objects list. Depending on your aptitude at solving mini-games, which are always logical and of easy/medium difficulty, you can expect this game to take around 3 hours unless you just want to rush through and not spend a bit of time looking at the beautiful scenes. Definitely dated, but has some merit. PS: as of writing, the game doesn't feature achievements.
Unfortunately, this game is technically unsuited for modern versions of Windows, with full-screen not working and the resolution being too tiny to play on modern PCs. This game also looks very dated, but the technical issues would make it a miss even if it didn't.
Couldn't really follow the story but the animations and facial expressions sold me.
The uncanny valley stares of these early cgi age characters are burned into my soul now. I can't unsee them. The adventure game was... OK i guess, other than that. The plot was barely there.
