I couldn't appropriately describe the madness and morbidity inside the Devs' ideas. They created an absolute manic Body-Horror masterpiece, just like the sculpture Barnaby created by the in-game character Daniel. Blood, desperation, physical and phycological tournament, absentmindedly homicide, and the peak portrait of the bold openness to human flesh. You name it. My shirt literally drenched with sweat while reading this visual novel, leaned on my chair, trembled with fright. A tribute to the 1950s Golden Era of horror comic. If you noticed, the sign in the starting cutscene is a tribute to the EC comics. The good old days of true horror comics.2 found this helpful
Overall Recommended: ✅ Gameplay: 🤍🤍🤍 Graphics: ❤️❤️❤️ Story: ❤️❤️❤️ Music/Sounds: ❤️❤️🤍 Jumpscares: ❎ Bugs: ✅ -------------------------------- Total: ❤️❤️❤️🤍 comment: Only saw one bug while playing, not game breaking but could be a bit annoying when it happened (sound words, like buzz or ding dong, sometimes got stuck on the screen but saving and reloading the game got rid of it). A kinetic visual novel with a comic book style. The story is pretty gory and morbid that has moments that may not be suited for everyone (
abortion, body mutiliation, suicide
, just to name a few). However, despite it's dark and twisted story, I did think it was done very well and enjoyed the whole thing (though I was hoping for something more to explain the characters' actions, so I was a little disappointed but that's on me).2 found this helpful
Wow! What a surprise of a gem this turned out to be. I expected a dark and interesting story based on the reviews and description, but the length and material within was unexpected by me! This was morbid and depressing at points, but it had a beauty to it also that was thought provoking and caught me off guard. A really good story that I decided to finish it one sitting from like chapter 2 to the end while eating my dinner funnily enough, LOL. The visuals, art, sound, and especially the music worked all great together. This def had some shock value to it, but not entirely as gruesome and possibly disgusting as I imagined it could be, which was cool and tasteful in the end to me! It had a Tales From The Crypt mood to it which I really dug. Haven't read a visual novel in awhile, but this was a good one to get the desire back in me to check them out again, dark premise or not. Great job to the devs and writers of this very solid comic piece! 🔪👨🏽⚕️🩻🩸🥩🍖🍗🥞1 found this helpful
Holy feline fluffs, this was gruesome and gory, supremely thrilling and horrifying. A fantastic visual novel or cinematic graphic novel for folx that love body horror amid themes of true psychological terror & depth. Super recommended, although, easy-to-get-queasy players should be warned that it is very much a *graphic* story.
Inspiration really can come from some fascinating places, can't it?
Morbidly good storyline and art style almost like a saw / silence of the lambs inspired movie, interesting cast of characters 3/5 worth it on a discount short but fun psycho horror
