Players praise the fun, accessible gameplay loop and controller support, with particular appreciation for the upgrade system and that it's made with Godot. Common feedback centers on lacking polish: players want more visual and audio feedback when enemies die, when waves complete, and when the base takes damage, plus they'd like to see meta progression systems, base customization, more enemy variety, and clearer stat displays during gameplay.
Awesome game! Plays really well, especially on controller. One thing I would want to see is more feedback when enemies are killed (could be a blood splatter or anything of the sort) and a rewarding animation or sound effect when waves are complete.2 found this helpful
Game is great! Game play loop is fun and I like the different upgrades that you can receive while playing. Something I would like to see though is some more damage feedback for the base and player, maybe a sound effect or flashing red for when either gets damaged.1 found this helpful
Solid start. Love that it was made with Godot. Basic gameplay is there. I'd love to see the ability to upgrade the base or modify the layout. Different biomes and enemies as well, of course. Maybe a meta progression system to help with pushing into higher waves or areas. Overall, there's promise here.1 found this helpful
Fun small game. Could be fun with some sort of progression between runs and a little more feedback and variety.
This game really has potential. I think I got to wave 21 before dying. I will say I'm not a fan of health saying 100% if you're also giving me upgrades to my health. I knew I was doing something but without pausing the game, I have no idea what my stats are while upgrading but that's the only issue I had with it. Keep up the work!
