Micro Miners

how does ♥♥♥♥ like this keep finding its way onto steam? -7/10

I'm a big fan of idle games but this one definitely takes idle to a new level. Not one I would recommend. I literally felt bored the entire time.

Micro Miners isn't really a proper game, it's just a lazy 2D browser/Flash-tier "number incrementer" game where the object of the game is to increase the in-game currency by sometimes buying things that increase the rate at which your currency/score goes up. It's an incredibly shallow game loop, to the point you might as well just run a program that does "i=i+1; print i" and watch the numbers go up automatically, and just watch it. You'd get the exact same outcome. If this sounds completely mindless, you're not wrong. You do have to "rest" from time to time which makes this even worse than your average incrementer, and you don't even get to click to hurry the game up... not that "hurrying" would accomplish much given the sheer lack of incentive involved in "playing" this train wreck... you just unlock a bunch of horribly badly drawn "pets". Is it possible for drawings to be of such bad quality that they're against the Geneva Convention? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. All the good reviews must come from the developers friends ... this is just awful. Not only the graphics, but also the gameplay. The miner is slooooooowwwww, but you can't idle the game because if you forget to look from time to time his energy runs out and - game over. My 2.7h are misleading, I just've forgotten that the game is still running. Oh, I got this game with a bundle, but that doesn't make things better O_o
