Re-Legion is an ambitious and unconventional real-time strategy game that attempts to rethink the foundations of the genre by replacing traditional industry, economy, and base-building with ideology, belief, and conversion. Tedious.

I would recommend based on the concept of it as I love the idea it brings, and I liked playing it. however it needed to be longer and have a better story there weren't that many bosses and it could have had better cut scenes. the ending which I won't spoil for others could have been a lot better its either a terrible ending or a bad cliff hangar which i hope ushers in a sequel that is way better than this one. but over all i love the colors and the them of it all. its just hard to get into the characters like more between the father and son dynamic in the game, what was the relationship with the prophet to shereena. so its not perfectly polished and needs more story to it. so I wish the DEVS would create more DLC to add all that in so it feels like a full game and them make us an even better sequel. because i want to love it so bad. I completed it in about 14hrs.

The game is pretty good, all about developing your cult. Although you don't create your own cult in skirmish mode/Holy Wars where you only control the cult of the main character, Elion. There is no building structures like most RTS games do, you just convert people into followers. The only way to add buildings to your base is by capturing one. Each one had upgrades to make your units fight harder like the Purifier's blessed shot. But I wished there are upgrades that makes your units impervious to damage. Speaking of that, the fanatics unit always die easily. The campaign was okay until Mission 6, that mission is impossible to complete.

This is one of those moments I assume the Steam Playtime is trolling me, since i'm pretty sure i've played more then 5 hours of this, anywho. RE-LEGION - A Cyberpunk Cult RTS where you are the Prophet, and must usher in a new age! Surprisingly fun, I actually started looking for this game after finding a Starcraft 2 map that used a similar religion concept and believed that it had to have come from somewhere, and low and behold, found this. It plays, it works. The plot is interesting but for some reason I feel like I'm missing 50% of the story somewhere, I'm just not sure where. You'r'e kinda stuck with the main 'Legion' Cult, unable to take control or play as any other cults, but its not honestly like their units are 100% unique, as you gain access to them as well. The ability to upgrade and 'expand' your cult with points gained by playing the game is an interesting concept, specially since it alters how you play it, issue is theres no way to reset your points so you'll have to do a 2nd run to get all the options you didn't get, and maybe a 3rd.
