About Reality End
Players can join a room-based multiplayer experience with up to 32 players per room, with the option to join forces with friends or be matched with other players. The game offers full hands controller support, allowing players to use their hands to control their in-game actions and movements using controllers, providing a more immersive and interactive experience.
The game currently features four maps for players to explore and fight in, each with its own unique layout and design, these maps are currently in either the beta or alpha testing stage, meaning they may still have some bugs or unfinished features, but the game is under development, more features such as explosives, and more types of weapons like grenade launcher, snipers and even melee weapons will be added in future updates.
Players have the option to use their own avatars from the Ready Player Me Metaverse or select from the cool skins available in-game for humans and android characters. There are various weapons including rifles, melee weapons, and more for players to choose from. Players can also utilize various vehicles like cars and tanks to traverse the game maps and engage in combat with other players.
The game features five different game modes for players to choose from including free-for-all, team deathmatch, capture the flag, demolition, and cover point. Each mode has its own set of rules and objectives. Players can communicate with each other using voice chat during gameplay. For players who prefer to play alone, there are AI bots available to provide a challenge and fill out the player count in a room.
A hand pad controller with command buttons and mini map is available for easy in-game actions for VR players. The game is designed to provide an immersive and realistic experience for both VR and non-VR players, so that everyone can join the intense warfare and change the fate of humanity in "Reality End", an indie game development.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players agree that Reality End is a poorly executed multiplayer shooter that fails to justify its asking price. Common complaints include that it's essentially an asset flip using unmodified store assets, the PvP servers are dead with no functioning player population, and the game suffers from performance issues like pop-in despite its low visual quality. While the game runs at 90fps on high-end hardware, there's little reason to play it when better alternatives exist for free or at higher price points.
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/Dpto50lLjy8 This is not a good game. You already knew that from the new listed price of $2 USD. The question is, "Is Reality End (Early Access) VR worth $2 USD?" I'm afraid the answer is no. This just isn't a good game and there are better free MP games available. I would even suggest paying more for something like Pavlov VR where you'll have a lot more fun. Reality End is a VR MP shooter. It's running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. However, I could not change visual quality from poor. Still, I noticed some performance issues with pop-in. It was prevalent throughout the map, which really shouldn't happen on low quality on my RTX 3080. You have full locomotion and snap turning (although the snap turn angle is like 30 degrees and it's just too slow). You can also run, jump, & slide. You have first person or third person view. You can aim down sights or hip fire. You have four classes and 5 maps. The store page says there are 6 hero types, I have no idea what that means. There is an item shop where you can buy some items, including new weapons …15 found this helpful
It is not good and the maps are straight from asset store, thats why the graphical style is really wierd. I would definetly not play this.6 found this helpful
Warning: Dead PVP Game This game has no meaningful single player content, and no playable PvP servers. There is no functioning PvP population, it's a dead game, and cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Asset Flip! Reality End is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of different Unity asset packs and cobbled them together in a half-baked train wreck, then gave up when nobody wanted to buy and p…1 found this helpful
