About Rothschild: The Sheep Will Wake
Rothschild: The Sheep will Wake is a procedurally generated first person horror game in which the Rothschild family dominates the world. The player fills the shoes of Jordan Baker, a journalist sent to investigate the hospitalization of Kane Rothschild. Little did he know, this rabbit hole just doesn't end.
Overall Rothschild is 6 chapters long, each being released separately; but all being apart of the same game. Once you've purchased ANY chapter you're also purchasing the rest of the chapters. We can't stress that enough, ONE purchase defines purchasing the complete game. Chapter Zero is the very first chapter, acting as a prologue to the main story and our launch for EA.
Dynamic Horror System: Don't think you can ask your friends for help! Our D.H.S allows us to randomize each user experience a bit. Anything from clues, to AI, to even side missions and Easter eggs will be procedural.
Non-Linear Story: With Rothschild there's more than meets the eye, especially when it comes to the story. Each play-through is tailored to how you play and what you, the user decided to do. Act accordingly, with some decisions there's no turning back!
Shhh!!: Plug up your Mic but remain quiet! In Rothschild, the walls have ears and they will hear you. Although this feature is still being perfected we're very excited to announce it! The evils that lurk about RTSWW are very much attracted to your wimpy calls for help, can you keep quite?
Fight or Flight System: Develop and hone your skills in Rothschild to help you survive, but what perks will you attain? Will you be a sly, stealthy, trap setting investigative journalist with a keen sense of awareness? Or are you more the type to run and hide in the closest small, dark space you can find?

I'll try and set aside my own feelings about alphas and version 0.01s being released as Early Access titles (in short, they shouldn't be) and do what the developers have asked: provide some helpful feedback based on my experience with the game. > Most of the NPCs do not walk or follow any sort of path restricted by the usual laws of physics. Lisa floats across the ground like the Woman in Black diving in for the kill and Craig flees into the side of a train once he finishes his conversation with you. > The character voices are set at a volume somewhere between 'miniaturized children from Honey I Shrunk The Kids screaming for help' and 'housefly's dying breath'. > You press '2' to activate the flashlight. Not '1'. Also, seeing as you can't take them with you, it may be helpful to refrain from clustering every battery in the game within about twenty feet of each other at the start location. > There are four epilepsy medication bottles to collect. Not three. > After growing bored with my attempts to locate train parts for Craig in exchange for a spare tyre, the game randomly dropped the tyre on my head from out of thin air and instructed me to return to my car. I obeyed and the game f…44 found this helpful
Broken AI pathing, no map boundaries and stock unity assets. Soundfx cranked high enough to make your ears bleed for some jump scares. Story is confusing at best, performance is hit/miss and often the map renders 3 feet in front. Not sure what happened, imho the game was in better shape during alpha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8oIx-fZzZE On a side note and not that it matters. Was banned off the forums after the developer requested detailed bug info, when I provided this they claimed it was not the place for such discussion. Apparently I was rude, childish and offensive. Any personal feelings aside, in it's current state can only recommend avoiding the game. Not a very enjoyable experience, particularly if sensitive to motion sickness and your money is best spent elsewhere. ALPHA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ5iWk9PwEk30 found this helpful
-this looks like Call of Cthulu : Dark corners of the earth, as it is now in it's early access form. http://store.steampowered.com/app/22340/ -movement is a little sluggish sometimes, -interaction mechanism is functioning nicely, -it's in FIRST PERSON MODE, -it's really a lot like Call of Cthulu in atmosphere & all, "THOUGH I THINK IT WOULD BE WISE OF ALL OF US TO REMEMBER IT'S EARLY ACCESS," this may change later on -dev's promising 6 chapters, in it's current state we are in 1 chapter, LONG WAY TO GO :) Game On17 found this helpful
Just finished the alpha release and though it is filled with some glitches and bugs here and there it really has some potential story wise. I am well versed on the Rothschild family and their influence on politicians, pushing for sustainable living with a one world governance. Though the developers may have made this as pure fantasy it has an air of truth to it and i would like to see it go for the jugular with known facts. Game is scary and right off the bat, it should be a slower cooker that builds tension as the story progress's. Do i recomend this game? Yes i do, i believe that it will be something story wise that needs to be heard, it may not be a AAA production but it does have a kind of charm to it. The music is tense and the graphics of the environment are nice, character models need some love though ;) I will change my review as more updates come out and when we have the final product, good luck to the Devs the balls in your court.16 found this helpful
*Based of v0.1a Hotfix 8.5/10 Overview: Horror/Adventure *Based of v0.1a HotfixPros: •User Friendly -(You learn the controls very early without much effort) •Graphics Are Beautiful-(The graphics are so fantastic) •Spooky and Terrifying-(I might need a heart transplant after playing this) •Game Runs At Decent FPS-(Stayed at around 60 the whole time playing it) •The story is mysterious-(The whole time you are trying to learn about the town and the people in it) •Fog Adds to The Horror Effect-(The fog makes normal walking around scary :P) Cons: •FPS Drops At Radom Points-(Sometimes i would be at 60 fps then it would drop to around 30) •NPC Sometimes Ice Skate Instead Of Walking-(The npcs walking path, and they way the look when walking can sometimes look like ice skating instead os walking) •Glitches-(Some Randoms Glitches Here and there, for ex. can't read all the dialogue.) Review: I jumped into this game head first, expecting the worse and hoping for the best.At the main menu just the atmosphere made me kinda scared but most importantly it made me want to click the new game button and see what this game is all about. The first thing i notice off the bat is that the graphics are fant…15 found this helpful
While I do support Indie game makers, and this game, although in early access, does need a tremendous amount of work. but, I will keep my eye on it. judge though for yourself, and check it out.... https://youtu.be/vljAbaei9X42 found this helpful
