With about an hour or two of content, misleading marketing, and a general feel of being unfinished, Ship of Mist just wasn’t much to look at. The final nail in the coffin, however? I was not even able to save my game, meaning I had to take it from the top every time I died. Every. Time. Maybe give this one a miss [code]Reviewed at GameGrin.com. Pure jank...humorous dialogue? havnt found that yet. Thrilling new worlds? Still waiting. Uniquely designed scenes? looks like someone just through bunch of assets together and didnt even care if they matched or not... or if you could even get around them. more then once i had to crouch under invisible walls to get around some stuff... The dialogue sounds like it was ran through a bad translator generator then most of it sounds like it was read off through text to speech. The beginning area the first time i got to it had so many enemies just sitting right outside the door that i had no chance... but reloading their where absolutely no enemies anywhere. I got stuck on the ship because one of the "key" items just never spawned.... This game is VERY loud. Had to lower the sound and music setting all the way down almost as far as it would go just to find out most of the music is not even tied to the music setting.... the cutscenes audio is even separate from the general sound settings too...specially when out of no where music will just start playing seemingly for no reason thats so loud hope none of the bad dialogue is going on or you will not hear it at all. for the price, its pretty good
This game seems to be a mix of everything haha. The bit I did play of it tho was fine. I love that it includes voice overs. I did get stuck towards the end of my session tho.
