The Fight Of Escaper

100% NO reasons for this game to always require an online connection, it has a single player right there. yes I know about the leader boards WHO CARES. the combat is basic and boring, just hold down the trigger and occasionally use one of only two skills, all characters play the same. Everything else takes far to long to unlock. the movement is stilted and clunky, it doesn't flow at all like a game like this should. After just two rounds you will be very bored with the combat. It needs A LOT of work before it's ready for any kind of release.

Third person shooter with randomized levels, items and boss fights. If you die, you have to start a new run, which will be different every time. You absolutely NEED to get this game if you're a fan of both the cyberpunk aesthetic and third person shooting games. Pros: Runs flawlessly on my old ass PC, good optimization. Visually, it looks serviceable at its worst and pretty great at its best, nailing the style it's going for. The main characters' designs and models are very nice. Weapon sound design is very well done, some weapons feel really punchy and fun to fire. The RNG element is cool, you can make some really OP builds with certain item combinations, and the more you play it, the more items you unlock. Some of the boss fights are pretty fun. Neutral: Music is not terrible, but nothing special either. It gets the job done setting the mood and that's it, not really memorable by any means. Cons: It's noticeable that AI was used to make some of the visual elements, but to be fair, it seems that there was an effort to try and make it not too obvious. Loading screens, character portraits, item icons, etc, all look like they were AI-generated and touched up on photoshop lat…

Quirky 3rd person shooter with rogue-lite elements. What can I say, it's fun to play and looks pretty nice using UE4 I believe. The pros are it's nice looking, fairly easy to understand and play, lots of upgrades as you spend more time playing. Nice addition having multiple characters to choose from (although you need to unlock these and their outfits). There's quite a bit of RNG going on, so some levels are incredibly easy, and others super tough. However, if you can master the basics and keep playing after you die several times to get better and acquire favourable rolls, you will progress nicely. Negatives, it's very repetitive gameplay, and could do with some more enemy and level variation. It's also lacking for those looking for multiplayer experience co-op with so few online players. Developer needs to add a bit more and sort out the camera issues when close to walls. A first-person mode would also be most welcome. This game should work with UEVR mod too which is a neat bonus for VR players. Aside from that though. Worth its £10 on the current sale right now. Balancing is Trash

Haven't Finished yet: So yeah this game looks like one of those Youtube ad games right? Well it's a shame its marketed like that cause it's not even close, it's a fun run&gun rougelike shooter with three unique heroes to play with, actual progression & level difficulty offering hours of content & honestly some truly broken builds but that's what makes it so fun to play. I got this on a sale for under a Pound & I do not regret it The only problem I have with it is that it's "Always Online" but the devs have said that they are working to fix that & other issues & I really hope so because this could generally be one of the best rougelike & games I've ever played
