The Art Theft by Jay Doherty is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, The Art Theft by Jay Doherty is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This is a barely interactive art exhibition/VR experience from Google, who really should google whether a crap VR youtube video is the same thing as a game before they pollute Steam with this stuff. The idea is you wave your arms about to make a little drawing and then watch a youtube video about the drawing with some low poly furries in it. Jesus wept, they want us to think this is a game. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse.
