as much as i love this franchise, having basically zero improvements on an unfinished buggy game in the span of two years genuinely sucks. will most likely recommend once the game finally has any work done on it but as of now its absolutely not worth your money.4 found this helpful

Brad, I love your games as they made tf out of my childhood but brother, please fix these! There's no reason in 2026 where this game is this buggy and low quality. Why is World 3 not 60fps? Why are there no true resolution and framerate options in any of the games? Remember your charging for these now, this isn't free like they used to be and yet they're the same quality. I don't want to leave a negative review but I have to for the sake of change, fix and update the games, there's no excuse.1 found this helpful
Nostalgic, fun and flowy platforming
I must say these 2 hours I've spent playing this game have been some of the coolest hours of my life! The game truly brings back memories and tons of nostalgia from when I played these as a kid, and now I'm all grown up and get to play them again! Thank you Brad Borne and 2 Left Thumbs for giving me the best gaming experience ever! -Gabe (a.k.a. GA_games21)
Great fun! I love this series, and was interested in revisiting it, while also learning about how it first began instead of sticking to my go-to, World 4, AKA Super Fancy Pants. Fantastic ports, each game feels smooth, of course, not as smooth or fast as World 4 (at least to me), but the earlier games to my knowledge were based more on Mario than Sonic, so that's to be expected. Although, I do kind of wish that it ran a little better. I mean, I'm not surprised that my crappy laptop kind of struggles in the frames department, but regardless, it does drop frames, so if you have a very crappy laptop like me, turn down the quality and go on your marry way!
