A Decade In the Making
The Fancy Pants Adventures series started over ten years ago (2006) by Brad Borne, an indie developer who wanted to redefine video game platforming by making speed and tight controls feel compatible. Over the years he has honed his craft, turning his Fancy Pants games into a worldwide phenomenon with over 100 million plays and becoming one of the top browser-based games of all time. This newest version, Super Fancy Pants Adventure, is a culmination and a reimagining of the series into a full-fledged title.

I just love this game because of my childhood!1 found this helpful
Stickman with fancy hipster pants and a fountain pen goes on an adventure. Also you learn skills through ice cream because why not. Run around areas and beat up baddies while looking cool doing it. Not much else to say but its an enjoyable classic with strong nostalgia, if a bit on the pricy side.1 found this helpful

I really wish I can remap keys, who really uses the arrow keys just because it's a platformer game?
I LOVED The ps3 game as a kid, this doesnt feel like it at all. You just spam melee to easily kill enemies, the movement is super fun in some ways but the enemies get in the way a lot to where you can't just speedrun it. The visuals and depth in the 2d world are really cool until you start getting confused as to what is what. I just dont really feel like playing it, its also optimized terribly took me a long time to get my controller that works for every other game to work on this game, I have to use steam big picture mode which almost bricks my 5080 and good cpu brand new PC
