About Windlands
A first person grappling hook exploration game. Soar through the ruins of a fallen world and discover the secrets of the ancients. Designed with full Virtual Reality support for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, also works great in Non VR.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise this VR platformer's excellent grappling hook mechanics that deliver a satisfying Spider-Man-like swinging experience across floating islands, with some calling it one of the best early VR experiences available. However, technical issues are a significant concern, as some players report the game crashes on launch and won't run, while others note the game is relatively short and may not justify the price for everyone, though discounts help with that concern.
Crashes on launch, can't play. Don't waste your money on this abandonware.2 found this helpful

Fun grappling hook game where you swing around like SpiderMan exploring the ruins of floating islands
This game has perfected the feeling of swinging on a grappling hook, admittedly to the detriment of every other kind of locomotion. I highly recommend it, even if you get it just to mess around with the free roam on easy difficulty
I love this game so much, it really shows that 3d platforming and VR do mix and the incredible experiences that are possible with VR. To account for the game being short I would recommend buying on Discount if you are worry of the price tag. Also the number of hours played is lying because I played a ton before on the oculus store before I had to switch to steam and buy it again.
One of the best early experiences in VR.
