✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's beautiful visuals, soundtrack, and engaging bullet-hell gameplay mechanics, with some enjoying the puzzles and story elements. However, there's significant disappointment around the narrative quality, with many finding the story rushed, characters underdeveloped despite appealing designs, and the ending underwhelming—particularly frustrating for those who valued the early access version's stronger storytelling before the final release.
really fell off after early access unfortunately. gameplay is fun and not too challenging after the difficulty patch! i enjoyed the puzzles but as someone who puts a lot of importance on plot i'm really disappointed at the drop in quality between the early access and final release. so, 4/10 overall. liked it enough to finish it3 found this helpful
How to Play Thy Creature
1 - Buy, install and run the game 2 - Wait and watch the game's opening video. It has beautiful animation and a wonderful song sung by a group called Mili. Mili is a great group and you should check out their other work. 3 - When you get to the game's main screen, go to the bottom option and click Quit 4 - Back to Steam, right-click on the game, select the Manage option and click Unistall That's it! You've now enjoyed the best of this game!1 found this helpful
It's a game that's quite literally what it says, a bullet hell adventure. It's also pretty short too.
good game so far (kind of at the beginning of the story) but there was this one bullet hell sequence where i had to redo it 10 times bc i kept getting hit by the bullets with the ribbon-like things at the end. still an awesome game tho! mazm im your #3 fan... hopefully u guys make a game with a similar style again :) edit after playing more! the game is really fun :) tho for me the floors kinda get easier??? i managed to clear 3rd floor faster than i did the 1st and 2nd. but i really like the story and gameplay! :)))
The game does well with its visuals and soundtrack but the story itself unfortunately lacks severely. I personally found it much too fast-paced which made the overall character development feel a lot less impactful than it could have been, which in turn just made the cast feel very shallow and unfortunately rather boring. Interactions between and with characters felt extremely disconnected-- aside from running errands for them I cannot say that they added much to the story for me which is a shame because all of them have very appealing designs and deserved much more depth than what they got. The ending as well only added to the disappointment since the build-up towards it essentially led to nothing after the initial final boss. Not to mention the sound design, which I've personally found to ruin the mood a lot of the time with the way it was used in this game. It sadly felt like a lot of the story was heavily neglected in favor of focusing more so on the gameplay and its bullet-hell mechanics. Saw a lot of potential in the game, especially since I originally purchased it in its EA stage before finally playing through it, but I'm sad to say that none of my expectations in regards …
This game was phenomenal. Ive waited to play this game for over 2 years now, found it on social media and just now had the right pc to play it. Im glad I didnt want anyone else play it and played for myself. The story was amazing, very well written and thrown into the game itself. The gameplay was hard, no doubt, and sometimes had me leaving to cool off, but I would always come back because even if it was hard, I had fun playing the game, looking for clues, looking for the story. The ending made me cry, and I hope Big Guy gets what he needs to get from Victor, he really does deserve it.
