About 50 years
✦ AI summary
Build a civilization from scratch and lead it to victory through strategic decisions about beliefs, buildings, and creatures in a single-evening strategy experience. Quick matches packed with meaningful choices, unique nations, and high replayability make every game feel fresh, while early-game decisions carry real consequences that can determine your fate.
Fast paced turn-based strategy
50 Years is a fast-paced alternative to the bigger, longer turn-based strategy games. You can win or lose a game in a single evening. Either way you'll want to play again.
Still a strategy
We love strategy games and we want to keep all those emotions that we had while playing them. That's why "50 years" is still a strategy. You will take difficult decisions and take risks.
Replayability
Quick matches doesn't mean that you will soon get tired of playing. if you loose you would play again just to survive longer. If you win you would play again to beat the game even better. Furthermore the element of randomness makes your decisions non-obivous.
Early game matters
We are sure that early game is one of the most fun parts of strategy game. Of course, the mistakes in early game can have unfortunate consequences and can even lead to defeat, but that is what makes this games interesting.

Es un juego de estrategia muy simple, pero que no tiene ningún fallo y está balanceado. Para matar ratos está bien, y por el precio no se puede pedir más.
A simple game with a surprisingly addictive loop. Every decision matters, and trying to keep your tribe alive while planning for the future kept me coming back for "just one more run." Easy to learn, quick to play, and satisfying to master.
Really a hidden gem. It shows its age with a UI like an old flash game, but it's actually challenging and engaging especially on higher difficulties. Very replayable with lots of achievements. Even works great on steam deck if you don't mind using trackpads.
This is a well-built, polished experience, though I think the store descriptions are a bit misleading. The implication that I got, at least, was that this was a massively simplified grand strategy game. While everything said is technically correct, this game is more like a fast-paced auto-battler with elements of city management that feel most akin to an old Flash game. Which is not to say that this game is low-quality, or not worth your money: It absolutely is. I just think it's good to have a better understanding of what you're actually buying. You decide whether to build structures to get better economy or more troops, and then intermittently get attacked by arbitrary enemies and pit your existing troops against them. Then you try to rebuild your army while trying to stack your economy as hard as possible without becoming so greedy you die. There's also a secondary progression economy, faith, that allows you to pick from specific pools of buffs in what are effectively very tiny trees of five total options. These buffs are all very meaningful and can have very dramatic effects on your army, your economy, or both. The game is satisfying to play and offers meaningful choices,…
Honestly, a solid little game. Has a very fun and simplified Civilization 2 feel without the long, drawn out game like Civ. Replayability is okay, but it's pretty predictable with story/event progression after a few playthroughs. Definitely worth it to buy with or without a sale. 8/10
Can't recommend it. Once you get past the hard stages into very hard the min-maxing of it all is downright tedious, especially as the patterns change between days. I know the whole point of this game is no story just strategy, but it's hard to feel the strategy aspect when the win conditions are so exact as to take any sort of fun or flexibility out of the gameplay. To the point where even if you look up the guides for help, you have to reset the time of your computer in order for any of them to be followed. Also you can't save. I enjoyed the different ability/belief categories however.
