Conception PLUS: Maidens of the Twelve Stars is a game that lives and dies by how willing you are to meet it on its own peculiar terms. Developed and published by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd., it blends turn-based dungeon crawling with relationship simulation in a way that feels both mechanically intentional and tonally eccentric. At first glance, it can come across as a novelty built around an outlandish premise, but beneath that surface is a structured RPG that genuinely tries to integrate its systems into a cohesive loop. Whether that loop holds your interest depends largely on how much patience you have for repetition and how comfortable you are with its unconventional themes. The story follows Itsuki, an ordinary student suddenly transported to the magical world of Granvania, where he is tasked with saving the land from corruption by partnering with twelve “Star Maidens.” Each maiden represents a zodiac sign and possesses unique traits, and together they form the backbone of both the narrative and gameplay systems. I really like this game, there's a lot of adorable characters to romance and the gameplay is pretty chill. It's also uncensored contrary to the console release wich is a good thing.
Not for everyone. Unless you played Conception 2 and liked it, this won't really be of interest. I got it on sale because I didn't want to spend 50 dollars on it. It's cute and sweet, if you're into that sort of thing. I'd suggest getting it on sale if you're interested.
This review is not a "recomend per say" but more of a "Indiference" the idea is good, and the RPG elements work, even if they are EXTREMELLY grindy but what kills for me is that the "auto battle" is too good, when i discovered it, i only realized that it wasn't good against bosses, everything the auto battle can handle it So in essence the game becomes less of an RPG and more of a visual novel with some absurd long grindy sessions going through the dungeons
