Super cute anime RPG. The combat system makes turn based combat actually seem a bit interesting and some of the characters really liven up the story a good bit. Should keep you busy for a while if you enjoy JRPGs.29 found this helpful
## 🎮 Megadimension Neptunia VII *Megadimension Neptunia VII* is where the series takes a massive, undeniable leap forward. The jump in production value is incredible; everything from the graphics to the overall presentation feels vastly improved and polished compared to the *Re;Birth* games. It feels like a true, high-quality next-gen JRPG. But the absolute standout feature of this game is the soundtrack, which is just pure, god-tier ear candy. The music builds the hype perfectly from the very beginning: the theme **Uranus** plays during that massive dragon boss early on – which reminds me of a Final Fantasy enemy called Drake. Uranus theme is setting a wild, high-stakes vibe right out of the gate. And later, when **Never give up** finally drops during the True Final Boss, it is an absolute masterpiece of a climax. With its multi-dimensional storyline, the introduction of Uzume, and those epic Next Forms, the game delivers on every front. The leap in quality combined with that unforgettable music makes it a phenomenal experience from start to finish. **Final verdict:** *Megadimension Neptunia VII* represents the absolute peak of Neptunia's production value. I can't deny it any longer, this really has just become one of my favorite Neptunia games. That, and favorite game overall. This game is absolute CINEMA. In comparison to its earlier three entries, I really like some of the ways Megadimension Neptunia VII shakes it up a bit. I'm a real big fan of weapons having distinct combat routes you have to work around over just getting to go ham. It feels a little less mindless than the previous three games and while it doesn't make it too much more challenging... I still find myself appreciating it! I also think that until the recent games this is one of the most beautiful games right next to the original Neptunia Victory. My only real big gripe I don't like is due to getting this game late, I'll never get to see the 100% completion legitimately due to DLC I can't purchase now. Which for me feels kind of big, as I like seeing all the story events I possibly can (when I get the time to do so) and feel a little bummed about it. But this is a game I sincerely adore down to the very last droplet of gameplay. I will keep coming back to it to do all I can. The game is beautiful.1 found this helpful

Not my personal favorite Neptunia, but I can easily see why people consider this the best one of the series. The gameplay is fun, a lot of the characters get time to shine, it arguably has the most significant differences compared to most of the mainline games, it has a good three part story, and it has some cool spectacle. Some stuff that holds it back in my opinion is that I never felt like I had control over who was in my party for most of the game, I really don't like they removed full healing for level ups, I felt like getting from place to place on the world map was tedious and I think material gathering is just bad. Still, this is a must for Neptunia fans.
I've got a few Neptunia games on my account already, and the time has finally come to get to Megadimension. Turns out it was worth the wait, since this might be the best entry in the series so far, both in terms of story and overall polish. The plot is split into three acts, and that structure works well, letting each part stand mostly on its own while still building into a bigger picture by the end. It gets surprisingly dark and even emotional at points (of course while ignoring the fish guy nonsense at the start), but it never loses the humor and fourth wall breaking jokes that make these games what they are. Neptune is still her usual goofy self, and older Nep is, well, a menace in the best way possible. Characters got a real upgrade too. Nepgear finally feels like a useful, well written lead instead of dead weight, Noire, Blanc, Vert, and Uni all get more to do in the main story instead of just standing around, and Uzume might be one of the best new additions in the whole franchise. The antagonist this time around is genuinely well written as well, which isn't something this series always nails. Gameplay wise, the combo system got a solid overhaul, picking the right combo for…
