## 🎮 Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation While *Re;Birth 1* might be the most iconic, *Re;Birth 2* is hands down my personal favorite in the entire series. I remember when it first came out and a lot of fans weren't too thrilled about Neptune taking a backseat to Nepgear and the CPU Candidates. But for me? I had absolutely no issues with the shift, and I actually loved how the younger sisters stepped up to guide the story. The candidate dynamic just works perfectly. What truly elevates this game above the first one is the balance. Unlike *Re;Birth 1*, which constantly ruined the vibe with sudden, brutal difficulty spikes that forced you to grind, *Re;Birth 2* is beautifully balanced. The pacing feels smooth, the combat flows naturally, and you can actually enjoy the journey without hitting a brick wall every few chapters. It took a risk by changing the focus, but between the improved gameplay balance and the charming focus on the sisters, it hits all the right notes. **Final verdict:** *Re;Birth 2* proved that the series could thrive even without Neptune in the spotlight. As an American video gamer, it was always interesting to see what other cultures of gamers considered good video game design and philosophy. I hate to say it, but the standard JRPG and its formula make for some of the worst RPGs possible. Regardless of whether its story is good or not, you generally have to spend so much of your playtime grinding for XP and items and re-exploring copy-pasted dungeons that have little to no variation between them. One thing I do love about Japanese video game studios is how quirky they are, though. While JRPGs tend to be very grindy and repetitive, you can count on the Japanese to try and make up for that tedium with silly naming conventions where characters or elements of the world itself are named after computer hardware in the case of this video game's self-referential humor on the industry. You can always expect a humorous and sometimes emotional journey, and for the games to have cute anime style female characters whose personality traits are varied and dialed up to an eleven in exaggeration. It's a fine Neptunia game, but I think it's disgustingly similar to Rebirth 1 (reuses a lot of the same assets) and the villains and plot in the first half of the game are just... uninteresting in my opinion. Not helped by the fact that you go through quite a bit of the story without the other sisters. Still, you get introduced to new characters, have a party size of 4, and get the start of the Hyperdimension storyline that continues in other games. Overall, fun but know what you're buying.

I liked this game, except for a few glitches and bugs I encountered and the completely confusing plans crafting. About positive sides, the ending of Conquest literally schocked me, characters like Cave and 5pb. charmed me with their personality and wonderful design, and the plot of almost every ending is good, compared to Neptunia Rebirth 1 it's much better. About negative sides, the game balance is literally dead, I don't think it's fun when a story boss kills your character in one 5000-7000 HP hit, while enemies or basic bosses in the same dungeon deal around 200 damage. If completely ignore some of the bugs and the dead balance, this game is wonderful, and I definitely recommend it. The entire world and Neptunia series are pure comfort (This is why Conquest ending feels like a pure nonsense lol), nothing more comfortable than Neptunia exists <3
