About Flywrench
Flip your ship’s polarity between three different colors to get around obstacles. Each maneuver that you perform, such as flapping like a bird, or tumbling like a baton, changes its color. Match the ship's color with a shape's to pass through it, hit an obstacle as the wrong color and fail. The pace is unrelenting and, in a blink, the challenge resets without penalty. Flywrench is accompanied by an epic electronic music soundtrack curated by Daedelus.

hey better than the super meat boy appearance jokes aside, this is a great game.
Short, sweet and frankly extremely sexy precision "platformer" by the creator of Nidhogg. For some stupid reason it's underrated as hell. The soundtrack alone is reason enough to play this thing to completion, but if you're not a music guy: It looks beautiful, plays flawlessly, and has vibes I cannot get enough of. Death is fast, the pace is rapid. You'll fly and tumble through rainbow-colored tunnels at supersonic speeds so high you'll eventually have to stop relying on your reactions and start planning your route through a level that takes, if done correctly, two and a half seconds. No other game does this to me. The quoted Destructoid article on the game's store page sums it up: "Time disappears when this game and I are together, and I never want it to end." There's nothing quite like Flywrench out there. The only thing Flywrench is missing is more levels. It's criminal this game isn't some 1000+ level gauntlet with like 10 paid DLC level packs. Sparse mechanics too; you'll face permutations of the same basic obstacles for the whole game. There's an in-game level editor and Steam Workshop support but things are dire on the user created content front. If sheer vibes isn't enou…
AMAZING GAME IN EVERY SENSE. The music is perfect, the mechanics are perfect and the visual style is beautiful for me. Maybe is one of the best games i've played.
Flywrench is a striking example of how a game can build tremendous depth from a deceptively simple premise. Developed and published by Messhof, this independent arcade title places players in control of a small, highly maneuverable craft tasked with traversing a series of increasingly dangerous environments spread throughout the Solar System. There is no lengthy exposition or cinematic storytelling to introduce the experience. Instead, Flywrench throws players directly into its world and challenges them to learn through experimentation, failure, and persistence. Its minimalist design philosophy is immediately apparent, but what initially appears to be a modest action game gradually reveals itself as a demanding test of coordination and precision. At the center of the experience is an elegant control scheme that blends movement with color management. Every action performed by the player affects the state of the ship, altering how it interacts with obstacles. Gates and hazards are color-coded, requiring players to align their craft correctly while maintaining momentum through tightly designed stages. The brilliance of this system lies in its simplicity. There are only a handful of m…
Frantic, fun, and ruthlessly precise. A great flash game style romp with an easily understood design and plenty of mastery to be had. Wonderfully weird soundtrack.
Such an underrated game, the movement system is fun and interesting, and so is the music.
