Framed Wings is an indie action adventure RPG inspired by a variety of games which focus their attention on combat, exploration, and puzzle solving.You play as a hero on a quest to uncover the truth about a missing friend. During your travels news comes to light of a group of magicians that have stolen an ancient grimoire from deep within the School of Magic. The grimoire is rumoured to have the power to unlock a sealed door hidden somewhere on the island which imprisons a foe with catastrophic capabilities.Prepare yourself for an action-packed adventure as you take on dungeons, complete quests, solve challenging puzzles, and slay formidable monsters.

This game was absolutely fantastic! If you're a fan of the Zelda series, you'll love this game. The story is great, the controls are smooth (I used a controller), and it actually has a bit of a challenge. It took me ten hours to 100% the game. I was stuck on a couple different parts but the developers were very helpful and always quick to respond in the discussions. I highly recommend this game.3 found this helpful
I think it's a fun JRPG, it's impressive for a single-person effort. Has a good amount of content and interesting minigames / quirks, and doesn't take too long to complete. I had a few technical issues but the game's in a finishable state.2 found this helpful
One of the ways you can tell a game is bundleware is if only 18% of the people who bought it get the achievement for starting the game up. Framed Wings is a retro pixel 2D top down JRPG/ARPG/Zelda ripoff. Wander around a retro 2D pixel map hacking things up and wondering why you're not just playing Zelda. On the plus side here, fullscreen works, but it's stretched 4:3 (I think, retro pixel graphics are ugly at best so it can be hard to tell). Speaking of the retro pixel graphics, they're ugly, but better than most RPG Maker cookie cutter JRPG graphics so that's kind of a plus. Like being the tallest midget. Not the worst of all the shovelware JRPGs/ARPGs but I still wouldn't recommend this to anyone I know.2 found this helpful

I am not one to play these kind of games, yet I had a really fun time playing this. The story, the enemies, the quests and even the small easter eggs scattered through the game make it very entertaining and shows the love and dedication that Kodama Games put into it. This game gave me warm and nostalgic feelings while going through it, specially with the calm music during the forest areas. Regardless even if this is my first time playing a game this style, I would totally recommend it to friends and hope they enjoy it as much as I did as it holds a special place in me. Hopefully I get to see more of Kodama Games in the future ;)1 found this helpful
I don't have much time in but game is ok. Have enjoyed the quests so far and the battles are fun and easy, so far. Recommended time waster, but not sure it satisfies a Zelda thirst. Worth $4.1 found this helpful
