I feel used and hoodwinked by the developers. Played for almost 40 hours to the "ending". Promised a full release. Nope, had to wait until after Silk Song, for some reason. Never happened. Now we have to wait for console stuff? who cares? Release the game please. Steam itself says it best: Note: The last update made by the developers was over 17 months ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date.

The part of the game that is released is good, but devs seem dishonest. they said the full game was done but postponned the release so it won't come out at the same time as silksong, but it has been over a year now.

Game is quite good but Devs are whats wrong whit game industry. Happy one year anniversery (yes game was finished a year ego but they wont releas it).

The game itself seems fun, nice art direction and overall atmosphere but the devs will (far as we can tell) NEVER release the full game. More then a year ago they said it was all finished, but didnt want to release it cause of Silksong. Weak, but fine, whatever. Then suddenly they wanted to first get the console versions ready too before PC release, which makes no sense, as far as we can tell just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse. Now, for MORE THAN A YEAR, we have been sitting here with allegedly a FINISHED GAME but no new info, just the vague claim of "yeah haha dont worry little paypigs... i mean valued players... we are totally gonna release 1.0 aaany day now, aaany day, just gotta get Silksong out of the way, oh nooo, now we gotta make the console ready first too, but totally any day now, oh nooo, the stars dont align today, whelp, better luck next year..." TLDR: I believe this game releases when i see it, until then i can only hope more people will FINALLY give a downvote as they (just like me) realize we are not being taken seriously at best and got scammed at worst

First of all I love the art style of this game. And I was enjoying it at first. I thought this was exactly what I was looking for. However, as I played on through the game I found that enemies are so clustered at times it's ridiculous. The platforming also seems designed to just be annoying to make the game harder for the sake of being harder? It's all mapped out in a way that feels clumsy. I enjoy a challenge but these level designs and enemy placements are so frustrating! I really hope you continue working on this game and polishing it. I see it has a lot of potential. But I really can't recommend an unfinished game that is in this state. But I see you haven't updated the game in over a year. Very disappointing. :[

I gave it a thumbs up because for the most part its fun, i like its graphics, its side scroll action, the bosses aren't overwhelmingly stupid like in most games these days.. The thing i hate, is the sheer amount of item hunting you have to do just to to get to most chests. Then when you do get them open you get a piece of cheese.. like great all that time wasted for this, but if you don't go after the chests you will possibly miss something like crafting materials which you need, since apparently Blacksmiths and merchants don't keep stock of basic materials to make the things they sell. Basically a good portion of the time invested isn't in actually following the story, its in constant backtracking to get chests, you couldn't before do to lack of proper Item.
