I really didn't want to say this, but as you can probably see for yourself: "The last update made by the developers was over 2 years ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date." It's joever. The game's been abandoned, and it sucks because I really wanted to see where this game could've gone, because I love the premise. I hope maybe it gets picked up again in the future, but as of now there's not really any reason to believe it's going to get worked on anytime soon. I really, REALLY wanted this game to turn out ok, but... well, it didn't. It sucks but that's how it'd be sometimes.2 found this helpful
Absolutely amazing game that I will definitely revisit! (Refunded purely due to personal financial issues.)2 found this helpful
the ui is horrible and got no clue how to navigate the game1 found this helpful
My Recommended score is a bit conditional. It's a very good game that should certainly be given attention, but right at the moment with no difficulty setting the ground combat is very, very difficult past the first campaign mission, at least for me right now. I had a great time with the first two space missions and the first ground mission, though. My recommendations to the developer would be that they either nerf the MCVCM to have lesser stats or less attacks, or that they give UN-SOLEXFOR slightly buffed stats or just give you more troops to work with. Though it's possible I'm just bad at it.1 found this helpful
Interesting orbital mechanics and ground battles. Plus, the animation is just nice to watch. So far, the game is in early access, I hope it will be released someday. Review update: The game has been abandoned and there's no contact with the developer.
UPDATED 2026 I really like this game, but I can't recommend it. Previously, this review was a positive, silly comment expressing my fondness for Isaiah 188. It's been 3 years since the last update, with no sign of any new content or bug fixes on the way. If you want to get the game because it looks interesting, that's fair. I did that, and I really enjoyed it for the 40ish hours I've played it. I'd only advise you maybe reconsider the price tag, as experiencing this game will take some time, much more than the 2hr refund window you normally get with Steam. If you're still interested, what the game offers is: - Two somewhat-polished UN campaigns, one ground and one space, which explore the mechanics of the game. - A sandbox-esque mode where you contest for control of the Solar system vs. AI. Ground and space combat both are quite fun and have some thought put into them, though are hindered by bugs and a general lack of iteration. Both modes have their fair share of bugs, the game occasionally crashes as a result. Bug reports have been made a few times, but I doubt the game'll be revisited. It's a shame, Isaiah 188 has a very interesting take on space combat, which would have …
