About Journey For Elysium
Journey For Elysium is a story-driven VR game inspired by Greek and Roman mythology. Players will take on the role of an unnamed hero who has passed away. He finds himself on a boat in the Underworld trapped between life and death. In order to reach Elysium and obtain redemption, the mysterious traveller must use all his wits and skills in a series of increasingly elaborate twists and challenges. Along the way, he will discover more about his past.

Art style: enjoy the black and white art style inspired by the paintings of Gustave Doré. The high contrast art style fits best in recreating the desired atmosphere of the underworld. In addition, you will find golden highlights here and there, which will guide you further along the way.
Puzzles: Journey for Elysium brings back the excitement of classic adventures games of the 90’s and revamps them for a new era. Look for clues and solve an increasingly complex range of puzzles, challenges and tests to move the story forward.

Mechanics: travel on the river Styx and explore the underworld with the rowing mechanic, the most important travelling method in the game. This natural way of transportation feels very comfortable and immersive.
Two modes: when you are not rowing, you can experience two different ways of moving around. The Immersive Mode lets you walk through the world via the analog controls, whereas the Comfort Mode lets you teleport around the world to avoid any VR motion sickness for people prone to it.

Interesting and cool ame to play in VR ...if you dont own a VR you can still enter to play it and experience a bit of it but it feels wrong as this game wasn't created to play without VR. You will experience your journey from Underworld to the beautiful Elysium. A game worth to play and have fun in VR headset !5 found this helpful
nice short trip for that price
One of the worst VR experiences I have had in a while. Near the beginning you are forced to use a boat that is almost impossible to control and constantly spinning slowly in a direction. Instant headache when it spun around automatically. Poorly done controls.
This game is short. I completed it in around 2 hours. But sometimes that is better for VR (as long as the price you get this for reflects that) I can't remember buying this TBH. I probably picked it up in a bundle or for cheap in a sale. If you get it on sale (it's very cheap usually) then this is a perfectly acceptable game. The graphics are B&W but good. The puzzles are easy enough not to be annoying, and the climbing sections are challenging but if you fail it was your fault. The mechanics are solid. I saw other reviews complaining about the boats. Nonsense! It is fine and surprisingly realistic actually. So if you know how to row IRL then you're good. So in conclusion, pick this up at the right price and enjoy your 2 hours.
The game uses AI. Not worth your time or money.
An atmospheric walking simulator complete with some basic puzzles and platforming. Enjoyable, but not worth full price, wait for a sale.
