Was offered a copy through Curator Connect and just had to give it a go. Hard to go wrong for $3.40 Canadian but it has some issues. Still, for the tiny price and what it tries to do, I can't help but give it a thumbs-up, however hesitant that may be. Deliberately aims to be a Wii Play Tank fangame, with a wholesome art style and lots of levels, which is great. Fake depth-of-field effect makes everything look tiny, like toys, fitting the theme. Bare-bones-äss Unity Engine game. Can't even set/change/view your controls. Features co-op and competitive multiplayer but only online -- no local at all, which was the entire point of the Wii original. (Yes, people would play Wii games online. The Dr. Mario RX and Mario Kart Wii crowds were particularly feisty, and I enjoyed taking down bosses with random players in co-op in The Last Story, a game too good to re-release, apparently.) Bullets bounce off walls. Not sure if that was in the original, but it means that the single player (or, at very least, the first tenth of the co-op levels) essentially consist of trying to get just the perfect angle to boun…

Great little game! At least 300 co-op levels. Can't wait to try battle mode with some friends.

Lack of local co-op is a major dealbreaker here. I can emulate the original Wii Play version of this for free.
Handmade Battles: A Cozy Journey in Felt
There’s something almost magical about this little felt game. It reminds me of those childhood afternoons when, after school, my sister and I would lose ourselves in endless hours of crafting. The sound of scissors snipping, the scent of glue, the soft texture of fabric in our hands. Surrounded by threads, needles, pieces of colourful felt, and handmade gifts—each one with its own story. It’s a vivid, intimate little space, one that feels close, familiar. The felt universe, with its soft tones and its board filled with little tanks, wraps us in a homely atmosphere. Every moment, every whimsical vibe of the stage, breathes the dedication and care, as though everything was made by hand, with love. We listen to melodies that accompany this sanctuary, like a tune playing on the radio while assembling a puzzle with family. Here, we find our friend: this teddy bear who takes care of us, but also plays with us in these quiet moments, full of smiles and joy. We cherish them, these sweet moments—like a taste of eternity—where we create and invent our own stories, giving them the decorations that make them unique in our eyes. Like playing…
