Featuring fun and interactive wildlife in a calm watercolor environment, Let There Be Life can be enjoyed by everyone, young and old!
GAME PLAY
- Adding leaves increases the health of the trees, but...
- Plants on the ground below will die if in too much shadow!
- The farther you extend branches, the more health is added by new leaves.
- Mushrooms like shadows, and a fully grown mushroom resets the light for nearby plants.
- A variety of playful wildlife to unlock and interact with throughout the game.

This was the first of two games produced by this company... http://www.backwardpies.com/ It’s a Zen like, relaxing, build a tree game. Your trees must provide cover for mushrooms on the ground, while at the same time avoid blocking sunlight for all the flowers. It's aimed predominantly for children and adults to play together. Problem is that there really isn't much on offer here and you will probably be bored with it within an hour or so. This isn't to say it isn't enjoyable to play, it is, but there isn't really anything challenging here. The hand painted art is very stylish and the sounds of children laughing and the gorgeous accompanying music will often inspire a smile. There is a number of animated birds and butterflies which also help you become at peace as they brighten up your tree and make it come to life with all their fluttering’s and noises. 34 levels, but they all follow practically the same principle, after you have done the first couple you can literally jump to the last level and pass it easily. You will then be given a key to open a door and credits roll, the end. This game is like another one I have played and if you enjoy this, then you would definitely enjoy…5 found this helpful
this game is not all bad but sadly i just cannot recommend it because it is way too restrictive. i know that sounds stupid but that is just how i see it. you puzzle your way through this 'tree constructor' but at all times you have to place the new branches in a way that the added leaves do not block sunlight to the plants on the ground. so you have to work around this limitation all the time and in the end _every single tree_ looks like sh!t and you just want to grab an axe and chop that ugly thing down. plus there is no sandbox mode to just create a really beautiful tree without caring about any limitations. that would be truly relaxing. but instead this light / shadow thing is the only gameplay element in the whole game and it gets old really, really fast.5 found this helpful
I really like the game. It is a good and fun way to kill the time. One thing that I do not like is that you can not change the direction of the branches so they do not always fit where I want them to.3 found this helpful

Tags: Clicker - Slow Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: It is repetitive and slow. Catchy sound effects and half decent audiovisuals do not make up for gauge-filling slow clicker gameplay. Goal is basically dump a bunch of branches and make sure that plants that like shadows are in shadows and plants that like sun are in the sun. Tablet grade game with limited content and repetitive simplistic gameplay. Hand drawn style is okay. Hotspots to place branches work alright. Sometimes hard to know the exact dimensions of the flower hitboxes. Simple game where you place branches on a tree trunk and try to manage shadows cast and place the occasional animal on the tree. Slow paced, and fairly difficult to lose. Meant to be taken as a relaxing semi strategic game. Shadows go on mushroom, sunlight for flowers living at the base of the tree. Audio is appropriate for the title and not too repetitive despite the looping. Sound effects are minimal but appropriate as well. Progression is straightforward and you can jump ahead to later chapters but the core gameplay stays identical. There are no story elements, not much of any fluff text, and no other game mode…1 found this helpful
Does this makes any sense? No, not at all. Is it calming? Yes, and that's enough. LTBL is just fine if you are tired after work and want some soothing experience.
