About Prune
Cultivate what matters. Cut away the rest.Prune is a love letter to trees–a puzzle game about cultivating growth and the joy of letting go. Grow and shape your tree into the sunlight while avoiding the dangers of a hostile world. Bring life to a forgotten landscape and uncover a story hidden deep beneath the soil.
- Elegant simplicity - click and drag to plant your tree. Then, as it quickly grows before your eyes, prune away unwanted branches. Bloom enough flowers to complete each level.
- A meditation - an antidote to today's overstimulated, always-on world. Take a deep breath, stay awhile.
- Timeless story - explore the evolving dance between civilization and nature, seen through the quiet eyes of trees
- Respects your time - a focused 1–2 hour experience designed to stay with you long after it ends
- Now on PC - experience every branch, bloom, and abstract landscape in full-screen detail, where every level is a piece of art. Enjoy the rich soundscape, featuring a beautifully orchestrated score by Kyle Preston.
- Deeper roots – finished the main story? Uncover additional challenges, for those who seek more.

Such a beautiful, simple yet satisfying puzzle game. Sadly, it is short and just around 1.5 hours, but the sale price is perfect. It needs achievements, though.1 found this helpful
Relaxing puzzle game
I love the game where you play as a tree, trying to grow out of different places. This as been my childhood game I've been searching for years.
Cute, scenic game with a great aesthetic. I liked it! It's a short game and only takes a couple hours to complete, but many of the levels have a hidden alternate solution that change the color of your level markers in the menu when completed and contribute to the constellation above the levels. It has subtle scenic storytelling as you help the trees survive and flourish in increasingly unwelcoming environments. The game feels meditative as you cut away the parts holding you back to better reach your goals. I'd recommend getting it during a sale if possible, just since it's a short game with limited replay-ability, but I do think the price is reasonable for the opportunity to have a chill few hours of meditative perseverance.
Prune is one of those rare games that feels more like a quiet meditation than a traditional puzzle experience. You grow and shape trees with simple mouse gestures, guiding them toward sunlight while avoiding obstacles. There’s no rush, no fail state breathing down your neck, just calm experimentation and gentle problem solving. The minimalist art style and soft sound design create a truly zen like atmosphere that’s easy to sink into. This is an extremely chill game, perfect for unwinding after a long day or when you want something thoughtful without being stressful. The puzzles gradually introduce new ideas, keeping things interesting without ever feeling overwhelming. While it’s not a long game and doesn’t aim for replay heavy complexity, the experience it offers is focused, polished, and memorable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, contemplative game that values mood and simplicity over challenge, Prune is absolutely worth your time.
