Molytropia: Cloud in Shape of Hurt is the first of seven chapters, which will tell an amazing story about the adventures of a girl and her friends. They will find a strange red door and try to open it, after that everything will begin. You will plunge into the fabulous atmosphere of summer days. Bright warm sun and beautiful landscapes, what could be better? Of course, difficulties are waiting for children on the way, because without them, it can't be called an adventure. The main thing is to remain calm and think clearly.
It's a visual novel, so you'll mostly be reading. Just press a key, then read, press it again, read again... and so on. There will also be a mini-game, a couple of endings and some choices.

This VN disguises itself as a nostalgic childhood adventure before slowly revealing something far darker. I like how, at first glance, its bright summer landscapes, friendly characters & whimsical atmosphere seem comforting, but beneath that warmth lies an unsettling psychological narrative hehehe (๑`꒳´๑)
The "free" section of Steam is being abused for marketing and advertising. "Molytropia: Cloud in Shape of Hurt" isn't a game, it's an advertisement for the rest of the e-book and you're expected to pay real cash money to unlock the full high school anime club dropout fan-fiction... no thanks. At no point should anyone just trying to find a real, complete PC game on Steam have to deal with an advertisement for a garbage e-book instead. So, this is an advertisement for a non-game visual novel/e-book fan-fiction and it has zero gameplay, it's just clicking through endless completely garbage, cringey high-school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing. So cringey that no real publisher would ever print it... So the author spends $100 USD on Steam Direct to publish an advertisement for their fan-fiction with the expectation that gamers will decide e-books are the same thing as games (they are not) and pay cash money for the full cringe fan-fiction experience. Ugh. The author chose to mislead gamers by publishing this as a full product instead of a demo just to get cheap marketing.
