About Reverence: The Ultimate Combat Experience
Experience real sword fighting in Reverence.
With total control over your body, you carve your own destiny in this first and third person, multiplayer, combat experience. With the Muscle Memory System you can intuitively control all your limbs and even tweak your muscle memory to create a unique style. To get the edge necessary to defeat a worthy opponent, you can override your muscle memory to make adjustments to your strikes in real time. When we have the autonomy to craft the execution of an individual strike when we see an opening a deeper level of immersion unfolds.
Reverence currently supports mouse, keyboard, gamepad, and virtual reality devices. Motion controller support coming Q4 2016. Reverence does NOT require VR.
The VR integration is at a very early, and in some ways, experimental stage. Unless you would like to actively support development, we suggest waiting to purchase the game for more polished VR experience. Feedback from early adopters will help to shape the VR integration. Also, please note that motion controller support is coming soon.

First of all, this is a game that as steam states, is on early access, this is not a beta or a finished game but an alpha project. It's a whole new concept of gaming that must be polished but but that works as intended most of the time, matches are very chaotic and fun, although for the moment it's recommended to join with your friends due the lack of active players. The developer is very friendly and active, always willing to answer the community inquires. Right now this game isn't for anyone, but for the people interested ina new experience (always taking in mind that the game is still in development), but it can offer with no doubt lots of fun, especially when playing with friends.11 found this helpful
do not buy this game, has no motion controls for your hands, you have to use keyboard to control hands...5 found this helpful
This game is alot of fun. Very interesting experiences. its alot of fun to play with other people to see how they react to your different attacks. its also hilarious seeing them run away when you chop off their arms.4 found this helpful
An interesting and entertaining concept with overall satisfying execution. I very much enjoy the full control system, even on keyboard and mouse. It takes a little time to get used to, but total freedom over your attacks is amazing. Only thing I would complain about right now are few minor glitches, optimization, scarcity of content and the lack of multiplayers which are to be expected from an early access game at this stage. Well worth the 15€ in my opinion.2 found this helpful
This games concept is so ahead of its time.2 found this helpful
