Shadows of Betrayal

Summertime. A cabin near a lake, surrounded by a tranquil forest. No phone signal. An uninvited guest. School has ended. What better time to go on a trip with your friends? But... will it be your last? The game wastes no time introducing the first mystery and picking up the pace: Does the stranger your uninvited guest claims to have met in the forest really exist? If so, what did he mean when he said you shouldn't be there? Just a few hours later, you realise that all warnings may be too late, as your planned summer holiday takes a terrible turn. Shadows of Betrayal is a well-written visual novel, with interesting characters and a tight, well-paced plot that keeps you hooked from start to finish. It took me about three hours to reach my first ending. Now I'm hunting for achievements and trying out different routes. I can only recommend that you do the same. :)
