Shadows is at its core a point and click adventure with ALOT FMV. Matter of fact, there’s even an entire 90 minute movie (maybe a prequel) to this game that is included with the game purchase. Unfortunately, it’s just as boring of the game. They had some updates that made the gameplay a little more user friendly, but it’s not much fun. A matter of fact, no fun at all. You click on hundreds of items that are irrelevant and useless. A glass, a lamp, a fly swatter….all have nothing to do with the story other than to waste your time. Monster is laughable. Acting is not up to the standard for FMV gaming either. Almost every actor takes three times the normal amount of time to recite their lines. Feels like English is not their first language and they are trying really hard to enunciate each word correctly. Story is a complete mess. Why are we introducing characters with 2 minutes left in the game? Why is the epilogue 19 minutes long and not answer any questions (clearly), why must I 100% the game to progress? Why aren’t nearly half the plot points covered. Don’t like to be super negative, but the story is so poorly designed you can’t enjoy the game, even if it was fun to…6 found this helpful
