Good racing game. The physics of the driving is pretty good. However, when you hit another car, there is a glue effect and you get drag out (probably a bug) You get all the standard mode like race, drift, elimination. There are real drivers coming in and introducing you the different mode. That was cool There are a lot of races to do here with all sorts of cars. Recent, old, supercar. No achievements is a real pitty here though.8 found this helpful

this isnt your typical NFS title/physics, while not exactly real world like, the physics are still miles above just about anything else NFS has produced. this game is centered around structured racing and while the cutscenes can be a PiTA they allow for breaks. this is the last game released where they concentrated on physics. the same studio that made this is also the one who produce project cars.6 found this helpful
i won an endurance race, took me 43mins 39secs+, 100% racing line, all corners mastered, beat lap time. took a screenshot of results screen, game crashed. it didn't save, i just wasted 44mins. i hate the cutscenes, i hate the main menu (the rotation has a fixed speed so it just skips when you move between categories too fast), i hate the career menu (it bugs out when you scroll all the way to the right), i hate that they *remixed*(butchered) one of the songs i actually bought the physical album for. You may be thinking Shift 2 Unleashed is just NFS Shift but with night-time racing. [h3]No, NFS Shift (1) is a better game, visually and structurally.[/h3] idk if it runs better on pc, but at least it was stable on the ol' xbox360, which Shift 2 wasn't. It didn't have these buggy menus and iirc, it was much clearer what cars were eligible for what events. I just bought an A-class GT3 Aston Martin, which can't be used in Modern A nor GT3. i'm sorry but what the actual fock is the rating car and name for then? Night racing is cool, but to do lighting at night, SMS had to switch the render pipeline from forward to deferred. A good call at the time, but i think Shift 2 looks worse …2 found this helpful
