About Slice of Life

Can YOU tell what is and isn't cake?
We've all been out and about at the grocery store or movie theater and thought... "Is that a hyperrealistic cake??" Not affiliated in any way with any game shows that ask similar questions, Slice of Life allows you to finally answer that age old question.

Features:
- First-person knife action: Use a controller or keyboard/mouse to walk and hop around a small city.
- A short cake-themed experience: A linear micro story meant to provide an hour or so of cathartic slicing and, I dunno, personal growth alongside a knife-wielding protagonist.
- One and done: This experience is not meant to be addicting or provide endless replay value. Just play through the end and move onto the next fun little indie game.

Make the perfect cut and explore a destructible world
Walk about your own little sandbox city and cut up what you want to cut up! Discover what is and isn't cake the only way that makes sense: by cutting in. If you've ever wanted to safely destroy everything in a cubicle-farm office building, now is your chance. You might even find some cakes there!

Really cozy game to just sit back and relax with for a while. The simple daily life atmosphere and slow pacing give it a nice calming vibe, and it’s easy to get attached to the small routines and interactions. Nothing overly intense or complicated, but that’s honestly part of what makes it charming.
fun
Don’t worry, this’ll be a piece of cake… literally.
Not bad for a short, free experience. I don't think it's hard to get the game's one achievement, if you care about that. I'm a little annoyed that I missed 4 items in my playthrough because I know exactly what they were and just couldn't get to them, but at least I can be fairly confident I otherwise saw everything the game had to offer. You should expect to get stuck often, however the developer knew that would happen and provided a helpful button that teleports you back to your bed. It's still a tiny bit annoying but you won't lose too much time because of it since the playable area is so small. If you need something to do for 30-45 minutes, give this a try.
Is it cake? (hint: it is). Worth playing, it's pretty short and stress-free. Great if you just want to zone out and OCD-slice up basically everything for a bit. F yo couch.
bad game there is too much cake !!!!
