About Survival Engine
Can you survive 10 days or more in the wilderness?
Find food, water, fight wild animals, and craft tools and constructions, sow different plants, and explore the map!
Survival Engine is a Unity template asset to create survival games.
This is not a full game, this is just the demo of the Unity asset store asset!
Gameplay:
-Player controls (mouse, mobile touch, and keyboard).
-Inventory system
-Crafting system
-Equipment (attached to character)
-Resource gathering
-Character attributes (health, hunger, thirst...)
-Animal behaviors (wander, escape, chase)
-Hunting and Fishing
-Farming (Sowing seeds, and plant/fruit growth)

-Bonus effects (Consumable or equipment that boost stats).

- There is no sound in the game. Nothing makes noise, no music. - Menu only consists of 'save game - load game - start new game'. No info on how to play or what keys to use to do things. - Besides info on keybindings, there is also no info on how/where to drink. You literally need to look for fish, so you can drink there or fish if you have the fishing line or look for other 'light dots' on the water to drink from. - It looks kinda cute, but there are bugs that make this unplayable if you want to quit and restart later. -> You can build a chest to store items. NICE!!! But you can't access them anymore later.. or destroy the chest.. -> You can build your shelter to sleep. Good! But at a certain point it won't let you sleep in it anymore and you can't destroy it either. -> You can't refuel your fire with wood after a while either and .. you guessed it, can't destroy it. -> I haven't gotten the watering can to work once. It is free, so there is that. If you wish to play. Perhaps try and avoid using chests. Make shelters and fires as you go. I cannot recommend it as it is just a demo of the Unity asset store asset. This is good! I am wondering how to get herbs. Its either I am stupid or I am blind, but how do you get herbs for the alchemy crafting station?????? Thanks!
it is a chill game that you can play while not really thinking about anything but it dies down fast and i'd say it is not for me. They need to improve the interactability with constructions and chest. Give it a try since it it free and only a 100mb
Игра 'Survival Engine' оказалась на удивление захватывающей, хотя поначалу и выглядит довольно просто. Концепция выживания, построенная вокруг автоматизации и оптимизации, реализована на отлично. Интересно наблюдать, как постепенно от примитивных действий к сложным производственным цепочкам, стремясь к самообеспеченности. Система крафта и исследования проработана детально, заставляя постоянно искать новые решения и стратегии. Ресурсы ограничены, и каждый выбор имеет значение, добавляя игре глубину и напряжение. Интерфейс, хоть и не самый интуитивный, со временем становится понятным и удобным. Особенностью игры является то, что здесь надо думать наперед, планировать развитие базы и учитывать множество факторов. Боевая система, вероятно, не самая сильная сторона игры, но она не является центральной. Главное - это выживание и построение эффективной системы. В целом, 'Survival Engine' – это увлекательная и продуманная игра для любителей строительных стратегий и симуляторов выживания. Она требует терпения и стратегического мышления, но вознаграждает за это ощущением прогресса и достижения цели. Рекомендую попробовать тем, кто ищет что-то оригинальное и увлекательное в жанре выживания…
