My goodness this game was quite the adventure for me! At first I was not too into the game, and did refund it. But after trying to watch 2 different streamers play this game wrong, (one of them was Joov) it made me very upset. I knew I had to rebuy it and play it myself. The world is just so large, and unique! I've been trying my hardest to use landmarks and the compass on the hand to keep myself from accidentally going down the same paths! I played it on Easy Mode, cause I was really just terrified of the unknown creatures I faced, but I felt that the ruined a bit of the experience later down the line in the harder areas and more bizarre creatures. I really want to replay the whole game again in a harder difficulty, but I also really want to get all the journals collected! I spent too long scouring the forest area for more, but I was unable to obtain a few. I kinda wish there was a dedicated Power/ Spell to see them from a distance or something. The crows circling overhead did help, but the majority of them just led to more energy from giant skeletons. Anyways, I definitely recommend this game as a "Stealth Archer" Hunting game, very wonderful music, and a wonderful experien…3 found this helpful
This game isn't too bad, it's a great primal hunting game, it's music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AWESOME! and some of the tricks with how to dispatch some of the creatures is pretty cool "you can only see when it's in your peripherals, the head is too armoured, normal arrows are ineffective" and so on, and adding to the unique ways of dealing with them, the creature designs are very well done, some look vicious, some are down right disturbing, some take inspiration from the folklore behind SOME of the creatures you encounter (I can't say for all, there's a lot I am unfamiliar with) and the locations are pretty diverse and only accessible via natural progression and a little exploration I do have a few gripes to list though ... First of all, when I originally tried the game, it had started with a montage that doubled as a tutorial, it was one of the most badass ways I had seen a game open up with and it set the tone of the game pretty well, however, upon getting a computer that ran the game better some time later, I was a little saddened to find the montage had now been moved to the end of the game. At the time of writing this review, I JUST finished the game, the montage was still just as aw…2 found this helpful
This plays like crap. It's choppy, it's janky, and there's a weird floating-ness to it. It just feels like a horrible N64 games at times. Not for me.2 found this helpful
At the main hub the bow and overall brightness and bloom is far too high. Lacks a brightness slider.1 found this helpful
Constant crashes and a game with no personality. It honestly feels like the same bugs followed the developer from his last game. Not worth your time.
Terrible game Its both looks and plays like asset flip garbage 4/10
