About The Crow's Eye
Welcome to the University of Medicine & Applied Sciences of Crowswood. I’m William Holtwick, and I’m the head and founder of this university. Each and every one of you has been chosen for your aptitude, intelligence, and excellence. Despite your qualities, don’t you dare think this will be a piece of cake. During your time with us here, you will learn that morals are no more than another burden imposed by society to impede us to advance.
Now, are you ready to change your lives? Do you want to stop being miserable and make the right decision? Today is the day you’ll leave faith, ignorance, and prejudice behind - faith isn’t based on logic or experience. Today, you’ll understand why the end justifies the means.
Here at Crowswood, we value the pursuit of knowledge and the advancement of human life. We seek to exceed what we believe to be humanly possible. Everyone here has a valuable role to play and our faculty is thrilled to be hands-on in your tests and experiments as we head towards the future. How could anyone not want to be a part of this exciting development?
Sounds fun, doesn’t it? Go on, I’ll be watching.

I just finished The Crow’s Eye today. I streamed the whole thing to my buddy, M, and we were both completely hooked on the story. It’s intriguing as hell; there’s something about the mystery and the way the narrative unfolds that is eerie but weirdly yummy. That said… it’s pretty slow-paced. Like, really slow. Like, test my patience-slow. Now, full disclosure: I do not like horror or jump scares. So when the game decided to randomly shove a worm (or whatever the F that thing was) on my face… let’s just say... I did not appreciate it! Also, if you have in mind that this game is actually from 2017, I think it holds up way better than expected. I enjoyed playing it - but wont revisit the worm-thingies.4 found this helpful
The Crow’s Eye by 3D2 Entertainment, published by Akupara Games, is a first-person psychological horror adventure that invites players into a haunting and unsettling narrative set within the abandoned halls of Crowswood University. From the moment you awaken in this desolate institution, the game plunges you into a world thick with mystery and tension, slowly peeling back layers of a dark past marked by unethical experiments and vanished students. The story is immersive and atmospheric, relying heavily on environmental storytelling, scattered documents, and audio logs that piece together a chilling 20-year-old mystery. The presence of the protagonist’s father, a troubled private detective, adds an intriguing personal dimension to the unfolding narrative, blending family drama with the overarching horrors lurking within the university. Gameplay centers on exploration and puzzle-solving, encouraging players to carefully examine their surroundings and interact with a variety of objects to progress. The level design is carefully crafted to evoke a constant sense of unease: dimly lit corridors, decaying classrooms, and eerie laboratories create an oppressive atmosphere that keeps playe…2 found this helpful
honestly, respect the puzzles. i need to come back to this game; i am not very good at puzzle games.
5-25-26 Pretty good game. a large variety of game mechanics from different games. Atmospheric and tension well done. Game mechanics interesting with new and old ideas. A lot to see and do here. Good game. Fun.
Although the price of admission is far from unrealistic (at ten bucks it's ultimately decent "value"), and I do want to salute the obvious efforts that went into making this, I don't feel like I can recommend it: not for what it appears to be on the face of it (a horror walking sim) nor for what it actually ends up being (an exposition heavy puzzle platformer). Whether you are searching for the former, and you won't find it here, or are okay for the ladtter and would be better off playing another game, The Crow's Eye kind of falls short of achieving anything, while strangely doing a lot. At first you might be willing to regard the game as an Amnesia or a Layers Of Fear like experience: dark abandonned hallways, notes everywhere, and a voice over ominously spewing exposition as menacingly as a comic book jester. The music is filling the quietness with some eerie vibes (very decent OST at times!), and the dated yet charming graphics are doing a decent job maintaining a sense that something awful is going to end up chasing you through these hallways. (not even a) Spoiler alert: that ain't happening. After being grabbed once by a weird worm, a thing that happened to me twice total i…
What a game, it has some BioShock vibes with the art style, great mechanic of crafting bandages and optional map parts, highly enjoyable even though at times I had to use a guide. I used a text guide posted by someone on Steam, copied all the text and pasted it in Obsidian, deleting the text describing the areas I've been through, so that I dont look up each time where is the current place I'm in the guide
