What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players universally describe this as an unfinished prototype or tech demo rather than a complete game, with complaints centered on the lack of content (single unchanging map), broken late-game mechanics, and apparent developer abandonment with no updates in nearly two years. While one player praised the developers' responsiveness and saw potential, the overwhelming consensus is that the game is tedious, boring, and not worth its asking price—with several calling it a scam given the lack of progress and sporadic sales. The core concept shows some promise for a simple strategy game, but executio
this seems like some kid pulled the basic design out of the box did a coupe things... and now trying to sell it 2 thumbs down15 found this helpful
This looks like a prototype to the game, not even an early access version. Considering this is done by 2 devs, I would not expect it to be finished soon, if it even happens.7 found this helpful
I've had a great time playing this game! Despite it being early in development, I see lots of potential, especially because of the responsiveness and action in addressing any issues. I'm excited to keep playing as updates drop!5 found this helpful
This is a demo for a game that was never finished. At best. Tedious, boring, and broken. There is a single map that never changes. There have been no updates in the last 8 months. Ran through the whole thing twice, just to have ships stop attacking each other, causing a permanent stalemate during the "late" game.1 found this helpful
As it is now, even in EA, the game has multiple issues, but the most important one is the lack of fun. And seems like the devs abandoned it, focusing on another project. Website is dead, last update is almost 2 years ago. It should be delisted, but it's going on sale occasionally and is just a scam at this point. And no, it's not worth anywhere near 15 bucks, nor the current price (5 bucks on sale). Unfortunate, as the game has some potential for being simple, yet engaging.
At the time I bought this, there was no actual game, just a tech demo of ordering ships to fly around. They released like three EA patches back to back (small changes), and then not a peep for over a year (as of time of writing still v1.0.3 since March 2024, 14 months ago). This doesn't preclude them from eventually being able to ship something, but presently it doesn't look particularly likely.
