The Processing Turn soft lock is super annoying and makes the game unplayable.1 found this helpful
Love the game a definite improvement over MOO3. I run win10. Game is 9 out of 10. This game is decently well balanced and at first glance a few dozen turns in you think it'll be over in a hundred turns.... Then turn 500 rolls around and you are still only just getting started... The diplomacy is well balanced compared to MOO1 and MOO2 it's lightyears ahead of them. MOO1&2 would just war with you for no reason or send troops to your planets even though you are allied. I do like the way Spying is handled. I just don't like how difficult it always is to get into a colony. Always seems to be max difficult level and the level of your spy doesn't seem to make a difference, except of course on defense. Planet and system management are well balanced. After a bit of playing the small number differences that seemed trivial from planet to planet really show their true colors. I do like the Command Point system overall and the CPU players seem to be bound by it too which is great. But the penalty for exceeding seems a bit steep. Though I admit I only did so once or twice and decided not to again because of the massive penalty and later in the game Command Points basically become trivial …1 found this helpful
I want another Master of Orion. I wish we could have one.
.
I love MoO 1, 2, and now 4. MoO 3 sucks balls. I hope they make a 5.
Tags: 4x - Empire Management TLDR: Very decent remake of Master of Orion. Works as expected. Nice voice acting, similar tech trees and feel, smooth engine.
