Master of Orion is a really enjoyable space strategy game and one that I still wish had received more long-term development. The core gameplay is solid, the presentation is great, and the combination of exploration, colonization, diplomacy, research, fleet building, and warfare works very well. It captures that classic 4X feeling without becoming too difficult to get into. What is disappointing is that the game feels like it had much more potential. I would love to see more updates, more content, balancing improvements, new mechanics, or ideally a proper sequel that builds on what is already here. There is a very good foundation in this game, and with continued development it could have become even better. I still recommend it to anyone who enjoys turn-based space strategy, but I really hope the series gets another chance in the future.1 found this helpful
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars is a fantastic 4X strategy game. I really enjoy exploring the galaxy, building up my empire, researching new technologies, and managing diplomacy with other civilizations. There’s a lot of depth without making the game feel unnecessarily complicated. Every playthrough feels different, and there are plenty of ways to approach victory. A great game for anyone who enjoys space strategy and empire building. Definitely worth playing!

A good remake of a classic one more turn 4x classic. This version of Master of Orion is worth a play if you liked the originals. I never experience any "processing locks" or any other technical issues.
This game is 10 years old and it's still getting to a certain point, and then getting stuck on "processing turn." It's the reason I stopped playing it after the first time 10 years ago.
